There’s a couple of us here holding out for Moses and Destination Tigers.

We never get interviewed.

“ How do you feel about Moses joining the Tigers?

That’s not too much to ask.

I think we do, we certainly have capacity through rich and powerful stakeholders.

Plus I know some things, I’d better not mention.

Mahoney went to the dogs. I understand the controversy was because he wanted only a bit more and the eels wouldn’t pay A lot of the eels fans appreciate his value.

Reminded me when smug wouldn’t stump a tad more for Peter Wallace and they lost him.

If we don’t nail Moses, there will still be a lot of interest from other top quality halves.

Especially when we are spending like drunken sailors.
Fu k NO! I will be personally devastated if we don't sign another failure to a 5 year bank busting deal. 😢😢

It's quite clear that Sheens wants a crack at coaching Brooks and Moses together. He had a plan all along for these two + Tedesco and now he has the opportunity to make 2/3 of that happen.

We've failed at almost everything we have tried in the past 11 years so why not just have a crack at it. At least Moses and Brooks will be able to carry the emotional load together....and hey....you never know....maybe Tedesco gets squeezed out of Roosters to make room for Manu/Suaali'i taking the 1 jersey

Brooks will love having him at the club , someone that can't even lead a BETTER side to a premiership on even more money to take the blame and ridicule for the next 5 years.
I'd be cheering my arse off.
I’ve always said that ones has to have a cold and frosty heart to be a Moderator.

My message to you unbelievers is that

1. Moses is a greedy punk brought to us by Satan.
2. He’s going to sign for us and turn us into genuine contenders.

We’ve been the good guys too long.

Look where it’s got us?!

Let the rivers of blood flow and meet at the Zurich Centre.

Moses or bust.

I have been briefly in the "Get Moses" camp...but Im off that boat now.

Im off it for a few reasons.

1. If he comes here, money will be the absolute major factor for him doing so. For him to go to a club that he doesn't really want to go to, I doubt we'll see his best footy.

2. He clearly prefers to stay at Parramatta. He is just waiting as long as he can for Parra to bridge that salary gap as best they can. I hope the Tigers have a date where this offer will expire. I don't want it heading into weeks and months into a season.

3. To this day, I have never heard Moses compliment the club in any way. He does not want back in and Im sure he'll take whatever Parra are offering him in the end.

4. Moses is very good....but he is not Joey Johns. 1.3 mil is definitely overs. Lets show some more patience and build the club further instead of paying someone who does not want to be here.

I hope we don't get him and I don't think we will.

I am quite surprised that he would take just one year with us. I don't think he has been mobbed with offers from rivals. I was hoping he'd f**k off.
Thats the rumour sweeping the forums tonight.

I don’t think he’s too bad. A long way from the 900 he wanted I imagine.

@stryker is very critical of him generally.

I think it augars well for the Moses thing. I hear what you say, but many eels fans think he’s out the door.

I feel quite strongly that Moses and Doogie in a combo would be a handful in attack.

I with stryker on this one. He is the one of the most overrated players in the comp.

He is quite slow for a back and a very poor defender. Slow is not the death knell if he can ballplay like Hastings.....but I've seen very little evidence of this. He is not the guy to take this team to the 8.....neither is Brooks. We need to go a different direction from both of them.

In saying that, I won't slit my wrists if we did get him. Moses is very good. I'd still like Douhei gone though.

Rather than Moses next year I'd rather throw the money at Tedesco and have Laurie at 6...Tedesco will get squeezed out sooner or later so I'd be going hard in that direction...not only for his complete ability and winning mindset but his defensive coaching from the back...he would be more effective for us than Moses or even Brooks stepping up to where he needs to be

I'd rather Moses for 1.3 mil than Brooks for 1.1 mil. It is an upgrade for us.....an expensive one.....but it is one.
I agree.

Brooks can play but he isn’t the value is my main point. He hasn’t been surrounded by quality either. I accept that.

He will sign somewhere else this year and then of course as @macnaz might predict, he will find his old form.

The club talking him up, that’s very suspicious. They know he’s a fall guy for the fan base.

Interesting. Laurie has been training hard at 6. His selection there is imminent at some point Id say despite Charlie’s form. But Charlie is only on one year. That spot remains open.

Ponga on 1.4, Gutho is on 800 and Daine is on 300.

Kind of illustrates that we are not “fullback people.”

And Bula, he’s probably on starvation rlpa award.

Maybe we should become more fullback orientated.

The fullback has to be the Alpha wolf of the backline..Tedesco...Slater...Gary Jack
..Eadie...Hodgo...the list goes on...no good just having the talent with the ball in hand...the FB is the defensive foreman and he has to know that part of his job and to be seen and heard doing it well! No team goes anywhere without a complete No 1
