Some observations on Sullivan from the learned @dragonsornothing courtesy of SGi forum:
Very interesting, a solid contribution.

Great post.Laurie is a bit of a conundrum. On the one hand he clearly is talented and I felt like Madge had a plan to shift him into the halves with Hastings as 7. Looking at how they both played last week, we would have been miles ahead had we stuck with Madge this year. On the other hand, everyone felt like he was simply biding his time until he could head back to Penrith.
Hypothetical scenario - Madge is still our coach. Hastings/Laurie are our halves. The team is going much better, and Laurie is looking fantastic at 5/8. Despite our huge improvement, it looks like we are going to fall short to finish 9th. Luai is set to leave Penrith and so an opportunity to sign Laurie has emerged. There is a grand total of 0% chance that we would be able to re-sign him. His heart has always been with Penrith and he would simply become another youngster taking unders at another club.
All that being said, we are a complete basket case. I genuinely hope Laurie gets 5-6 games at 5/8 outside of Cleary...he will no doubt kill it there.
Anyone is better than the 3 abhorrent lemons we started with this season.Nothing pisses me off more than the decision by the degenerate Sheenius to move on the only half in the club who had a footy IQ > a single digit & who gave a fk when he represented this shit club.Looks likely our halves options next year will be Sezer, Sullivan and Fainu. Interesting bunch, all very different players at different stages of their careers.
I like the Sezer signing, I wanted him a couple of years ago. DCE, Hunt, Johnson & Reynolds are all playing arguably career best footy this year. Sezer is at least a year younger then all of them. Very similar player to Reynolds in that his kicking and organising are his strengths.
Would say that as a group they are a better combination of players then Brooks, Doueihi, Wakeham who we started the year with.
That said, this squad should have been able to win more than 3 games so far and we are kidding if we think they will win any more.Anyone is better than the 3 abhorrent lemons we started with this season.Nothing pisses me off more than the decision by the degenerate Sheenius to move on the only half in the club who had a footy IQ > a single digit & who gave a fk when he represented this shit club.
Though to be fair, we have no idea how Benji will turn out, be funny if Robbie gets the GM role and has to sack him, if he can’t deliver? That said, this squad should have been able to win more than 3 games so far and we are kidding if we think they will win any more.
There’s no point saying we are improving in round 22. It’s like spotting the iceberg when the ship is at a 90 degree angle sliding into the Atlantic.
Tim said he would sort it out by round 3. Yeah right, round 3 2027 is that what he meant?
So when he says Benji is going to be a great Head Coach how can any sane person believe him? He can’t even do his own slice of this seasons decrepit campaign properly.
It’s a nonsense on the matey mate.
Our only hope is that Fulton and his backers win the civil war. That’s still in the balance.
It’s terrible that we have to hope to get flogged every week to force charge from the unaccountable greedy tools running this club.
They are humiliating and embarrassing us.
On all of the available evidence we have about Benji so far, he’s done a really bad job.Though to be fair, we have no idea how Benji will turn out, be funny if Robbie gets the GM role and has to sack him, if he can’t deliver?

07 & 09 titles were stripped from them, they don’t count, but they are stating they were presented with the trophy
Couldn't agree more. Unless you're a Melbourne Storm player or fan, Bellamy is the worst thing to happen to rugby league in the last 20 years. No doubt he's a winner and a success, but all of his innovations have made the game worse.Celebrating cheating and corruption.
They simply can’t be allowed to get away with it. An abuse of the game bringing us into disrepute.
Im over the storm as a concept. They’ve done very little but mangle and harm the game since they entered the comp. Mindless boring players inventing drop kick and chicken wing tackles. Wrestlerama. 9 year old man-child as a coach. Stupid mascot and sickening colours.
Id rather watch us get flogged for the rest of my life than wave a purple flag in joy.
We are incompetent and on the mate, but at least we don’t cheat.
Chuck ‘em out of the comp for all I care.
Yep.Couldn't agree more. Unless you're a Melbourne Storm player or fan, Bellamy is the worst thing to happen to rugby league in the last 20 years. No doubt he's a winner and a success, but all of his innovations have made the game worse.
Typical of the Storm is that they got busted systemically cheating the cap, and have done nothing but bitch and moan about it ever since. Acting as though they were the aggrieved party. The players act all innocent but if I arrived home and found a couple of $10,000 Harvey Norman vouchers in the letterbox and a speed boat and jet ski in the driveway I'd know something wasn't kosher.
Having said that, I also blame successive NRL management teams who haven't been quick to act on wrestling and tackling techniques that are deliberately designed to cause injury, and have gotten softer on cap punishments as the years have gone on. Personally, I think systemic salary cap rorters, when caught, should have every player contract voided. Halve their salary cap for 3 years, and increase every other teams by about a million. It would basically cripple the club, and they'd have to start again from scratch. It would be a genuine deterrent.
Allegedly?Yep.
And the countless occasions Bellamy has feigned innocence and then got riled up when he was accused or someone inferred he was teaching bad things. He gets angry like he’s accused of molesting someone.
Legendary public tantrums, entitled spoilt brat with the personality of a 13 year old.
And some truth telling that the game hides, Billy Slater and Cameron Smith were grubs of the highest order and I think Munster and Cheese weren’t photographed with Talcum Powder.
