Normally I'm peved off with this stuff but I find it hilarious.
After Parra pinched Moses and Matterson off us they stand to release one and lose another. They are leaking other top talent too.
Now it's them that's going to cop the ridicule of the journo muppets instead of us.

Like the look of Johannssen. Seems a dedicated kid as well. Being able to train full time he’ll put some size in pretty easily, would hope you’d get him to around 103kgs for the start of next year.

I just watched this interview and he wants to stay on. I actually like him but I can't see how we need him on an NRL contract. He would be good though leading our reserves around.

According to the report, the new franchise will be called the Western Bears rather than the Perth Bears with the former being a nod to Western Reds — WA’s first professional rugby league team.

The franchise will reportedly now finalise their submission before the August 14 deadline but are expected to be officially announced as the NRL’s 18th team by the end of this year.

The Western Bears will enter the competition in 2027, while a Papua New Guinea is tipped to join the following year.
