Ok so Radley was consuming / ordering cocaine big deal .. a lot of those older businessmen set the standard in that department.. it’s more hush hush though coz there clever ..everyone’s got to play along though.. .. they now have monthly drug training where it’s drilled into the players “Don’t get caught or the club suffers”!!!

I hope you are wrong. I reckon our team isn't going to get much better via recruitment. It's about getting enough out of the cattle we have to give the comp a shake.

I don't really see any weaknesses. It's a matter of the top players delivering. Api and Luai are the guys who need to pick up their games.
You don’t see weaknesses in our side?
Have another look 😖

I think it needs to be read in the context of the conversation.
It's more to do with our current squad, its sprinkling of signings, KPP, a couple of depth player signings, the inclusion of Heamasi Makasini and TaylanMay.
Our depth is improving.
Benji will have another preseason with his squad and I can see him improving too.
Not a weakness but I see it as an area that can be strengthened is the coaching staff as a whole. I still believe we need a hard nosed experienced assistant like Wolf to allow Benji to do his horse whisperer stuff.

We won’t succeed till Benji Farks off. Simple as that.
He had very little idea as a player what it took to build a season and I don’t see how that could possibly convert to knowing how to do it as a coach…which it obviously doesn’t.

There's no way he'll get the flick now, so you should save your anger towards him Troy.
I just can't see this roster and him getting more experienced going backwards. A fail would be not making the finals, but I guarantee you won't know this until late in the season like this year did
It's his roster and it's building nicely.

We have a squad that can compete with the top teams and the comp appears more even to me.

To me those drug deaths are a good thing for the communities.
As there’s nothing to write about this morning since obviously no one wants to write about the wonderfull sharks! (Actually I havnt checked yet) To me your comment is reasonable.... I don’t touch drugs at all now. I’m just too old at 63 and have too much to achieve in relatively very limited time (although there’s still plenty of time if you are counting days and consider the healthy options ) From a non drug taker point of view which I’m guessing you are that makes sense.. Ive got a boarder who is on the pot and I’m thinking thank fk I’ve left that behind.. I heard someone on my assistant tick tock say “if you have an addiction in the way of drugs etc you will still achieve a few of your goals. If you don’t you can achieve them all… “ that resonated

I reckon this should be in the junk thread mate. Up to you guys.
I've stopped talking about it.

I'll talk about the Sharks.
Hazelnut must be feeling ill today,.
I was asked yesterday who I thought would win and I said the Sharkies, purely on the fact they got AFB in to win them a premiership.
He certainly had an influence on the game Imo. With Hazelnut going off he had to step up.
Big red from Raiders had a huge game but thru fatigue he made a couple of bad erors late when ut was gonesky.

Don’t worry no-ones cuing up to post.. No one really cares about the arguments or where they are now ..
All the players are putting in at the sharks.. like their lives depend on it ..no-ones dropped off ..The halves are unflappable and accurate . Their defence is huge…..without a sea of stars, it’s a good blueprint. for what time will tell

And the wiz picked it again re Fogarty .. he was the cause of expensive mistakes. I would never have picked it previously .(tho my viewing time is restricted) did the “expert” commentators see that earlier on in the season .. they seem to run with anything once it starts or doesn’t start

Canberra lost due to inexperience.
Simple as that.
Sharks have been building for a few years now and are ready to take that next step.
Raiders are still a couple of years behind them. They had an excellent year where they overachieved, but the finals have exposed them. Theyll learn from this and be strong again next year.

So True. Losing an in form Strange didn't help the Raiders cause. I'm glad for the Sharks, they always come up short but they have some experienced players now.

I heard somewhere that Richo said Tigers won't be signing any more players for 2026. Is this true? I think fully fit we are a good chance of making the 8 next year, but god forbid any key middle forwards go down and we are royally screwed.

I think we are just one marquee middle forward signing (aka Tino) away from being genuine title contenders

I posted the interview on the "West Tigers club news" thread.

Canberra also lost one of their best the morning of the game. Plus Fogarty was awful.

Fogarty looked lost against the sharks and last night we saw Nicho Hynes shit the bed. People complain about Luais money and it was overs from us but good consistent halfbacks are rare as rocking horse shit.

Re Nicho, some would say it's karma for his piece of shit mum, others might say the good guy of the nrl got showed up for the myth he is.

As for me ? I think he's a fullback thieving a halfbacks money and the gulf in class is relevant to us because people say we're not far off. Cronulla are way better than us and they weren't close. We're getting better but we're miles off yet but we are finally heading in the right direction.

Are you trying to tell us Luai is a “good consistent halfback”?
Surely you jest.

Cronulla were pretty close ..Nicho dropped the ball at a crucial time which didn’t help but he’s been good....I doubt his mum has anything to do with it..I’d admire him for overcoming his mum.. he’d be in . 006 % of the population for achieving that. As for Luai don’t get me started.. as it stands he will be the highest paid player with the most detrimental effect on the team next year..Benji needs to challenge him for his low IQ plays and L needs to realise the street attitude will only hinder him, in terms of resistance to being humble enough to find out what he’s doing wrong (which is pretty obvious) and how to improve..like cleary does at every opportunity ..AD get well soon

Anyone else not at all interested in the grand final now. I dislike both teams but would prefer the Broncos to win, It will make Bellamy and Stef cry haha

But if the Broncos win get ready for a barrage of stories against us ,
