No-one is arguing that refs fugg up, but that decision wrecked what would have been a great game. There is fuggin up and then there is tonights decision, those two decisions are in two completely different solar systems.

Even if Ryles stayed on, the dragons would have still been belted.

They're not a 30 point better team with Ryles playing

I know the iq is a bit low down belmore way, but I was not aware that I said we would have won if Ryles had not been sent, nor was I aware that I said Ryles playing is a 30 point difference. Too much iodine in your water champ ?

It was 4-0 when Ryles was marched, with an hour to play. A man down for an hour when that man is your leading metres maker and best ruck defender is a rather dire scenario

So now you're telling me that Gavin Badger didn't play a rather large role in determining the outcome of tonight's game?

So in a few short posts it's gone from fuggin up and move on to the ref determining the outcome of a game. Which way would you like it? Give it a rest you moronic gimp.

How original.

If you say so, jees you change tune quickly, what no move on.

By the way, could you stop that, I am trying to have a shot at goal.

I'll be quite surprised if Badger earns a recall tomorrow. He should not be refereeing again this year.

How the hell am I "changing tune"? I said referees determine the outcomes of games by f**king up regularly. At the end of the day, we can whinge and bitch and moan and groan and carry on about whether decisions were right or not, but Mr Finch will come out and say "Referee X or Y had a good game, there were a few things he should have handled better".

Without fail, the same bloke will be there the following week making more incorrect decisions. Rugby league is in awful trouble if we can't sort out these referee problems.

Oh no. I agree. I mean... Storm made the last 2 grand finals by pure luck.

The players had absolutely nothing to do with it

I think it's an NRL conspiracy personally.

By the way - nobody is suggesting the Dragons are a 30 point better team with Ryles on-field... but 13 on 12 against arguably the best team in the comp... that's a huge difference to even sides. That's where it changed the course of the game. Should have been 12 on 12... or failing that Sin Bins only for BOTH Lima and Ryles.

Badger must be demoted. Simple as that.

He said that refs f**k up, and these c**k ups cost games. He also said we move on. Where has the tune changed?

He certainly got carried away didn't he. A send off was a bit much but a sin bin would've been sufficient to calm everyone down.

As for Slater being a dog. Whinge Whinge Whinge. The Dragons certainly ended up doing a number on him following Ryles coming from behind and tackling him to the ground.

seriously everyone goes on and on about gallen and co but the storm players are far worse. what did slater have to do with that fight? he came running from nowhere and threw a million punches. and who can forget that time he stomped on skandalis (i think) head? and as for adam blair i think it was, pushing jamie soward and looking like he was about to nail him. sorry but that is just disgusting. big man mate, lining up the smallest guy on the field. jeremy smith throwing the ball at poores head and then trying to fight him with some other thug by his side. i do give credit to falou though for showing some maturity and breaking that situation up.
oh and then there's the constant working of the head and neck. they're a pack of mutts. the shame of the league.

watch the replay, it started between slater n soward, moved to the sideline got broken apart, then knightingale was defending slater n billy started on him...

i dont agree with the ryles send off, unfortunately he is like paul gallen, has a name n wears a target

Opinion poll should be interesting... happy for it to be merged with the Ryles send off thread :)

Should Badger be dropped for his questionable performance tonight?

Yes. On his head, preferably.

But Stain fans are seriously kidding themselves if they think Vadge was the sole reason they lost.
