I’ll believe it when it happens. The problem is who do we replace him with? We need an experienced coach with some degree
Of Success. We cannot go with rookies. That was the issue to start with.
I know it's not a popular choice but we need a hardened dude like Flanagan. Someone to take no shit and knows what it takes to win.

I cannot wait to see, because they had plenty of prep time for this one!

The way they've played AOB must've thought it'd rain today.
It'll be injuries or some such rubbish. I don't even watch his pressers anymore. He can't string an intelligent sentence together to save his life. Harsh to say but he reeks of low IQ. Just being real...

He'll no doubt praise the team's effort today too. At halftime I would agree but there were some shit efforts and signs in this second half.

Yeah I suggested that but there is degree of merit to the argument he cheated. Twice! I think he would do a lot better job than O’Brien but we will have to see. What Gardner should is insist at bare minimum Flanno be brought In as assistant. He tried last year but acquiesced to Obi. A huge mistake. I am not even sure of what the ban limit was on Flanno. Going by the chatter around him of Late it must have expired or be close too.

"it's on me" "and "that's partly me also" will surely be said.

No accountability of the players = not culture.

Trouble is there's no depth for him to wield the axe
Well we can't be any worse even if you and I ran out there so I still think he needs to cut players regardless. A statement has to be made, surely. Not just a couple but 3 or 4. I'd drop the twins and Ponga first. That would put the whole club on notice and probably save AOB's career in the short term imo.

This at the very least. Otherwise, what’s the point of it all now?

I know we are being smashed in the middle every week but Andrew Johns must not be involved with the attack from week to week??? Surely???

There is no excuse for today's performance.

1. Ponga just re-signed which is meant to be a big shot in the arm for our club and the team.
2. Big crowd turned up on ANZAC weekend to support the guys.
3. Yes were missing a few to injury now, but the guys out there should have been capable of much better than what they showed.

The obvious issues are why did we play so atrociously? Coach has a lot to answer for there.

Parra weren't super today. They just did enough at maybe 70% of their best and won the little battles and took their opportunities - which helps when you have good structures in place and have built a good squad.

What can AOB say to the team this week before playing the Storm? 'Look guys you have no pressure on you from reserves so I'm going to really need you to play your hearts out for me today. Don't worry about putting on any plays, just do your runs and make you tackles. Oh and Clifford, no crazy kicks, just ensure you get them on the mark so we can set our line to tackle - that's right don't compete for the ball, just make sure you tackle the returner.'

f**k these 5 losses feel worse than our 13 in 2005.

I saw Hages in the coaches box for the Cowboys game. I'm getting ready to send the SOS to him too.

Sorry for the jumbled rant. It was required.

This is what I was thinking today.

It looks like he made his impact in the off-season and now the season has begun Joey must be less involved and we've very clearly gone back to AOB-ball.

Not sure about sacking Obi but definitely think it’s a waste having a assistant brought in, he seems overloaded with them now.
Its Obi or a new coach not something in between

The thing that continuously frustrates me about this club is our ability to take a small step forward followed each time by a giant step back. We literally just re-signed our most influential player on a massive deal which should be a coup for the club and then we go try-less at home.

I have defended AOB on here before but the last 5 weeks raises some serious questions about his ability to improve this team.

Has to go. Making everyone at the club look bad. Our players look genuinely uninterested in the footy they are playing. It's super boring for us to watch, it must be hell boring for the players out on the field.
