I'll believe it when I see it.Chammas saying on Triple M today that the club is likely to pull the trigger on AOB if we miss the 8.

My first thought.I'll believe it when I see it.
You filed anything like this to Wests on an official basis or anything? If not, please do.Talking to a mate today at the footy I think we really summed it up.
We don’t seem to have any trajectory.
We don’t have a plan.
We don’t have an idea of how we want to play (other than apparently boring).
We aren’t building a squad with any sort of strategy in mind.
Contrast to when Smithy was here after Joey - we were ultimately probably less successful than we have been under AOB, and certainly had a less talented squad - but we had a very obvious plan - money ball power game with finishing power out wide - and the team played to plan and squeezed every drop they could from their limited talent.
Now, our game plan seems to consist of holding on at our line after being steam rolled down the middle, dinking up little uncontested bombs and then waiting for Pong/Sharpe/Braddy to do something special.
Our squad building seems to be a hope and pray spend on Brown, and filling the rest of the squad with fringe first graders because it’s all we can afford or attract - without any sort of plan
it’s all pathetic, it’s all boring, and it all doesn’t work.

Yes... it's almost like the guy who is in charge of how we play has no f**kin' idea.Talking to a mate today at the footy I think we really summed it up.

All we do is one ups or block plays. Thats it. We are so easy to read. I guess that is an identity, in a way. It’s a good point re the lacking identify in attack. I’ve noticed that we attack very differently depending on who is in the halves and top teams don’t do that. They have their own identity and their set plays and everyone within the team know it. You know it’s “Storm attack” regardless of who’s in the halves.

Oh we definitely boring. I more meant when Hastings plays it’s nothing but short balls, etc. We don’t seem to have any set plays that we can run regardless of who’s in the halves.
I'd be fine with this too.I do see some value in a new head coach but AOB hanging around in developing our future first graders. What he has done with Lucas, Sharpe, Best, Hunt can’t be denied.
Exactly.Yeah he’s not staying on in a role like that if he’s sacked. It never works like that.
Lucas and Sharpe yes but Hunt is like 5 games in and we’re acting like he’s the second coming of Israel Folau is abit much, Best was a can’t miss prospect. Mind you 4 players in the span of like 5 years isn’t exactly the fist pump you think it is. In that same period Ricky Stuart has brought through almost entire top 4 side, Robinson has brought through like 5-6 potential top line players in the past 3 years alone, even a dysfunctional dragons team have brought through 6-7 decent prospects in the past 2-3 years.2 lisfranc injuries and some messed up orans to our three best players is enough to give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s not going anywhere.

If you ignore everything that happened in the leadup to all 3 of those events and have some issues with temporal perception then sure - there's plenty there for benefit of the doubt.2 lisfranc injuries and some messed up orans to our three best players is enough to give him the benefit of the doubt.
