John Morris is the best option imo. I’m not that upset over missing out on Hannay. But I think if AOB was going to get sacked they would have done it a month ago. The longer it drags on the more I feel that he’s safe. I also think part of it is that Brown signed here thinking AOB would be coach and they want to give it some time to see if they can make that work. If we get to mid-2026 and we’re seeing the same sort of performances that we have this year then it might be a different story.

I’d take Morris. I’d also take Holbrook.

Yeah Holbrook isn’t a bad shout. He’s got a couple of seasons of NRL coaching experience and he at least had the Titans going alright before he was sacked, then they’ve gone back downhill under Des. That being said it’s pretty hard to judge coaches for how they go at the Titans anyway because it’s such a shambles of a club.

Willy Peters.

Bad news with Hasler’s sacking is that I can very much see Titans snaring a “rebound” win- happens more often than not with a new coach coming in. Spoon looking very likely now.
Dolphins right side has leaked about 900 tries in 3 weeks. Even the Titans surely can manage a couple through there. They are an awful side, but they’re not completely void of ideas like us.

I’m confident they will get the win they need to beat us home.

Whether they are saying it in jest remains to be seen, but there a many people on socials threatening to not renew their memberships if O’Brien is still coaching this club at the beginning of next year.

The club have been publicly backing him through thick and thin- there’s no need to have a meeting about his future if he’s safe.
So if there really is a meeting tonight, I think that can be taken as a clear sign that he’s goneski.
