Yes Finau, Allan & Sloan aren’t the answer but you DO NOT blood a rookie in consecutive games out of position it will not do his confidence any good..

Flanno is not getting sacked in the seeable future! I think the club is dedicated to him for the next 2/3 years! Slowly slowly getting rid of DEADWOOD!

The issue is NO OTHER CLUB wants them!!
Can’t move players on if you don’t pay a large chunk of their wage.

I think next year we will see more movement out. Which will only allow us to upgrade & potentially buy more!

Patience is needed, yes we’ve been waiting for years, though look at the muppet coaches we’ve had!

McGregor (did nothing and gets extended)
Hook (too much out of depth)

Remember we lost a huge chunk of our cap in Hunt & Lomax and didn’t land a blow when it came to recruitment .

As a poster said abit higher. We’ve definitely over achieved to be able to have 8 games losses by less than 8 points.
We’ve only lost 13+ twice (roosters & dolphins) . I read article yesterday saying, only two other teams have been able to do the same or less this season!

so to say we’re going terrible is a stretch!

with the squad we have + the close loses I think this season is a 7-7.5/10!!

More rep players = more class = more wins & confidence!!

Add insult to wounds ,

- CT (been out most year) in 17 weekly
- R Couchman (been out all year ) in 17 weekly
- Lost M Molo (all year) in 17 weekly
- T eisenhuth ( all year) in 17 most weeks

Losing your starting winger/ prop/interchange all season is huge!!

Daniel Anderson is an incredibly astute signing by Supercars and if DA is smart and I'm sure he is, he will incorporate Kyle Stanley, BMM and Willie Talau into having official roles in our Recruitment/Retention team to continue to draw more of our Pasifica brothers. I'm a lot more confident of our viabilty with the Daniel Anderson signing.

The notion to not sack because there is no one else (who knows that for sure) just means more of the same which is the very thing that you don’t want and pisses supporters off.

If you have to go through 5 to get the right one to me is far better than to just maintain the status quo.

Some posters talking up signings like Tom E, Hame S, Christian T and claiming them to be walk up starts in our best 17 and not having them this season helped us to be as poor as we’re have been to me is absurd because no other club would see them as prize recruits and the further the season has gone on the length of the contracts for Gutherson & Cook look like desperation on our part to get them.

Despite having a questionable roster we have been out coached many times rather than us being unlucky in the close losses.

Is it hard to just sack someone? I hope their contracts end soon. I guess he needs a replacement? When does our new recruitment head from Easts start, and is it confirmed?

The first Three sackings desperately need to happen.

The 4th, I am curious why you think Carr needs to go?

The last one - wow he will have a battle on his hands there. But it must happen. We have the most laughable defence, and he is our defence coach.

They need to keep Flanno. God, if this club can make Flanno look like Poo, then it is more of a shambles then I thought.

There is no doubt in my mind that the club needs a GOOD shake-up. We have a positive in the young juniors coming through but have some deadwood that should be shed.

So the hard work of ridding the club of its dead wood. should begin NOW so that we don't waste another year. Most important is the idea that our action should deliver a positive change to our current circumstances.

1. We can sack Flanno if our changes still do not deliver a positive result.
2. Sack Young and Csarr ASAP and replace them with the Walker Brothers.
3. Fitness and injuries seem to be a big problem this season, so hire new staff Prior to the start of the off-season.
4. Now that we have a new CEO, we need to clean out the staff of the Football Department. Replace Haran, Millard, Millward, and others, while at the same time, identify replacement staff.
5. We need to get rid of the players we do not want to keep, and then as a priority recruit:
a. A marquee fullback
b. A marquee halfback
c. A marquee prop.

It will be the new recruitment manager's job (Anderson) to gain the signature of 3 marquee players (fullback, halfback, and prop. It won't be long before Reed will be available for the halfback job so we may have the halves combination we have been longing for over the last 15-odd years.

Whilst Hame Sele, CT and Eisenhuth are far from marquee players, they all performed well in their roles when able to make it on the field (caveat for when Eisenhuth was asked to play in the centres). But.......2 of these 3 are not the ones that have hurt us to much by being injured. I think Hame is one of our better middles (when he plays). Especially since it has meant that Lawrie has played nearly every game). I think Eisenhuth has been missed in the middle. I think we have replaced CT quite comfortably (Finau, Lawson, Allen). The injuries or outs which have been a major contributor to our lack of success are TCouch, RCouch, DEgan, Sua, Val, Lawson. I rate Hame quite highly and I think his injury injuries + the loss of FMolo hurt our middles immensely and consequently, that weakening of our middles has affected the rest of our games.
