There will be no plan. Hit and hope. If they get Brown and Richardson in, it's more hit and hope that that will work, without putting anything in place to ensure success. Lets not forget the COE was supposed to start construction early this year. It hasn't as far as I'm aware. There's been no word from the club, just silence. What's the plan there? Do they even know? It’s not the axing of Hook I want, as much as to know (or even to think) that they have a plan to turn around this steaming pile of shit we have now
Understand you're frustrated buddy but this post is just vitriolic.I'm not sad, not one bit.
His treatment of Bud has been unacceptable. This began last year vs. the broncos during SOO where he told him to not play his natural game and not to kick. His poor treatment culminated in Sullivan being replaced at the 30th minute by Mbye, and not to be seen for the rest of the match despite only using one interchange.
His sacking of Liddle in favour of Liddle begars belief. All I can say is:

The big concern for me is that while we are biting at the bit and being anxious to see the end of Griffin, we know that it isn't just him as to the reason that this Club has not been successful in the past few years, although I should cover myself by saying that Hook and the previous two coaches have been bad, it is the fact that our player strength has been second rate for too many years and you cannot improve here and there by tweaking a couple of better players to replace some baddies. We just have too many to say goodbye to.It’s not the axing of Hook I want, as much as to know (or even to think) that they have a plan to turn around this steaming pile of shit we have now
You should've left it at the end of your first sentence, but to answer your points:Understand you're frustrated buddy but this post is just vitriolic.
- Sullivan played 80 mins v the Broncos last year, he wasn't replaced by Mbye after 30 mins.
- Stating he was told by the coach not to play his natural game or kick, where are you getting that from?
- Sacking of Liddle in favour of Liddle? I presume you mean Mbye and I'm not aware Liddle was sacked? I thought he was still under contract to SGI? Did I miss something there?
I hope for all of the supporter's sake that our club can have a good change of fortune with its next coaching appointment but like others have pointed it out, it is a lot bigger issue than one coach and one player.
He'd be lucky if that's all they did.Hope he has seen the news tonight , so he might start packing his locker out now ...... He can call Benny and Mybe to help him , but make sure he doesn't ask Lomax , Sully or Liddle , because they might lock him in the locker and throw away the key .....
It will be Ryles, I'm pretty confident in that. They wouldn't sack Griffin without knowing who was replacing him. Board members leaking to media have been saying he's their number one target. Also that there is confidence a deal will be done pretty easily. The deal is done in my opinion, and he was the best candidate too in my opinion so I'm pretty happy with it.I just hope the board doesn't replace Griffin with a rookie coach.
I was thinking the same, but I think Browny is at Parra atm I thinkI reckon Nathan Brown should be interim coach if Ryles is to start next year
Sadly I said that about Griffin....guess it will be like when Bennett left we will have to wait and see.It will be Ryles, I'm pretty confident in that. Nah I want Hook’s influence well away from this squad ASAP, they will take sometime to recover. It’s not the axing of Hook I want, as much as to know (or even to think) that they have a plan to turn around this steaming pile of shit we have now
Absolutely spot on Crush.I am absolutely stoked that Hook will been sacked tomorrow.
He has been a disaster, he’s driven us backwards from where McGregor left us, didn’t think that was possible did you!?
Well here we are, he’s lost 6 in a row and got us on track for the wooden spoon.
His treatment of certain specific players has been criminal while he has given plodders like Mbye a starting spot in the spine week in week out.
His obsession with completing sets and playing conservative, negative football has killed any joy of watching the dragons.
The players have never respected him, despite the fluff pieces in the papers(BBQ anyone?) and their skills have regressed under him.
So I’ll be cracking open a nice bottle this weekend and look forward to the club dragging itself out of the gutter now that the dead weight is has finally been lifted.
