raiders should have won, that dolphins holdback try was repulsive, looks like nrl are pushing redcliff, hate them already
Did you see the penalty and sin binning of Dolphins halfback at crucial time which levelled the game up?
Worst sin binning I’ve seen in a while, ridiculous.
NRL aren’t pushing Redcliffe, the players and coaches are. They’ve knocked off Roosters and Raiders, good on them, huge respect.

Wayne Bennett, Redcliffe Dolphins.
Disagree, everyone thinks that the Dolphins have Neville nobody's playing for them. Bennett is the creme de La creme of coaches who understand that half the battle these days is the mental toughness of players. Instilling belief back into those players, bringing strangers together to make a new family. The Dolphins will and have surprised some opponents who believed that they were not capable of matching them on the field. St Benny was the only coach since 2000 to bring stability to our club and delivered us a premiership and a world club championship

Canterbury and the sharks have improved immensely and adapted well I the new style of game that was led by the panthers and we are still dinosaurs twirling our thumbs like dumb arses
It is hard enough to win a premiership let alone make it, and to make it you have to adapt to the top teams, buy or develop the talent to do so and then it is a lottery once you make the finals
Can’t see that happening in our club any time soon , I’m not negative, I’m a realist.

Not sure if we have differing views here?
Bennett gets the best out of his players.

Nope we share the same views. He has that ability to get a team to gel. He identifies their strengths and weaknesses and makes demands upon the club's boardroom as to what he needs to make a team at least competitive. Yes he has had his failures but the Dragons wasn't one of them

Bennett knows how to get the best out of players by knowing how to talk to the individually then giving each of them a simple task to do then mould them into a team . .... Hook's communication skill are non existing ......
I have said and I believe that this has been confirmed by our on field performances that Griffin lost the dressing shed after BBQ gate. This team is divided no matter what our cpt and GM, and CEO say

Good post jo ! That is the invisible ingredient that Bennett
brings to each club that acquires his services - the ability to have players become one entity both in body and mind.

That is worth its weight in gold , each member of the team believes in themselves and most importantly of all , that they can achieve their goals regardless of the odds .

You have to say the with all that has been going on in the last few days such as Sloans affirmation of Hook, the style in which the Dragons played against the Titans, now these possible signings from Manly, you would have to think Hook is making all the right moves to get himself a new contract. Who knows we might even get to see him unleash on a Ref during a press conference. Oh well got to give the man credit for trying.

There is no doubt in my mind that during the off season Griffin received the tap on the shoulder and advised that this was it. Mend your player relationships, bring your team back together and last throw of the dice within salary cap tell us what you need to make up competitive once again. The recent actions and words would indicate that he has tried to comply. The Sloan issue is a big u turn on both parties behalf. Hopefully it can help this club start to reclimb the stairs back up the ladder. I predicted on another forum last season that we wouldn't have a competitive top 8 until 2025. Time will tell if I am right
