Absolutely we may lose 2-3 games - the thing is that the potential of the team has been realized - we know what they are capable of and whatever happens from here is insignificant to the fact that the team is playing to their potential that has made them the best attacking team, best completions, top 2 team...We know McGregor can get this type of performance out of the team - we would be worried if these performances were not happening...so as far as I'm concerned McGregor has achieved!!
McGregor has proven he is our best option - we need to move our asses and sign Widdop and Dugan before the tigers offer both players $900K a season contracts and lose both players

I think that the board should wait until the pointy end of the season. Learn from past mistakes. No need to re-sign just yet. If we make the 8, I'd offer a 2 year deal with the the 2nd year in the clubs favor. No more 3 year deals unless you are talking about a Bennett/Bellamy type coach. I would also see who else is available regardless. That's just good management...surely that's not asking too much.

Guys there is no other coach in the picture - McGregor fits the "Coach the team only" model that the football management team have created - apart from that McGregor has proven against all our beliefs that he has instilled a playing style that suits our squad and one that is working fabulously...

Management won't announce Mcgregor till at least round 10 - I'm pretty sure all players yet to be re signed are being told that Mary will be the coach next 2 years at least.......

bench forward selections have been good. Difficult for any coach to get timing of replacements perfect.

Aitken, McCrone and Lafai have justified their selections. In this respect Mary deserves praise.

Am a little worried that we lost the territorial battle with Manly.

I'm kind of with you, but this team is playing with a different attitude & I can't see that being repeated. Maybe McGregor & Widdop should be held accountable from past performances & do a Nudie run from Wollongong to Kogarah

The way we are now , we could not be any better . We are ahead of most teams with stats . If we continue the season as we are , then yes they would extend his time here . But before doing that lets get at least to the half way mark . 2015 still sticks in my mind 6 straight wins then lost 7 straight . So before we resign Mary I would like a few more games to see how it pans out . I would hate to sign him now then find its 2015 all over again . In saying that there seems to be a different feel about the team .....
