This argument is flawed. The pessimists will never admit they were wrong just as the optimists will never admit that they were wrong.
The losers will just move on and change their focus. And the diehards will leave the forum.
Where is that Grouch dude that used to say we were doomed? Hasn't been seen since we went to number 1.
Not so sure that is quite correct.
I for one have stated quite clearly as have a few others that if proven wrong happy to admit we were wrong.
The way this normally goes down is a re-greatable season end is followed by a promising season start and heralds new found confidence and to some degree hubris by many optimists.
As soon as anyone says beware their are similarities or obvious weakness's they are set upon, labelled as death riders, not true supporters, told to f**k off and follow other teams and then it all descends into the abyss.
As for others if they come and go it is up to them for my own part I have followed this club my entire life and cheered their success's and cried at their failures and at this stage of my life I have been around long enough know I will see more of the later than the former. So when moments of opportunity present themselves I don't like the fact we are in the hands of people who are proven failures.
Winning a heap of games at the start of each season is indeed pleasurable but it ain't the pointy end of the season and thus far he has proven to be a flop when it counts most.
If that changes then I will be happy to stand and applaud and admit I was wrong but all those declaring I just do so now or be banished can just simply f**k off but as always I am happy to engage with them when the opportunity presents.
By the way if we do fall from our perch Uluru will be even higher as the optimists seek refuge under it.
