McGregor will be our coach next year and based on results deserves another gig.
We are in with a chance and anything can happen at finals time.
On performance basis we have to accept he has ticked most boxes.

I’m convinced.
I’m convinced McGregor Has consistently failed to introduce anything but Plan A.
I’m convinced he hasn’t learnt to adapt our playing roster during Origin and there after.
I’m convinced he keeps making the same mistakes, year after year.
I’ve never been more convinced that he needs replacing.
Until then, as always, l will continue to support the team, knowing we could achieve much more with a more knowledgeable coach, rather than a favoured son.

Our whole group of Dragon teams have favoured sons coaching. That is wrong.
The clubs foundation for nurturing of youngsters to first grade is on shaky ground.

Right on , if he gets us to the grand final this year he can see out his final year ....

I think we proberbly have to accept the fact he will see out his contract.
Barring Bennett becoming available, which looks increasingly unlikely, he will be here next year.

We are back to forth, if we win the remaining two games we stay there and play at least two finals........I think, they keep changing the finals system and I struggle to keep up.......but at the start of the year I’m pretty sure we would have settled for a top four finish and a couple of finals.

No way, this is delusional
To get another gig he needs to get to prelim final minimum.

Panthers, Storm, Roosters, Souths, Warriors, have all beaten us over the past few months.

We are incapable of beating the top 6 or so teams.

This is mediocrity!

Im not a Mary fan, but I have to give credit where it’s due. For him to come out in the media and take responsibility for the team’s recent poor performances is very admirable. This earnt him a lot of respect in many people’s eyes and served to take pressure of his players. What’s more is that he’s right, it is largely his fault, now that he has admitted fault he will hopefully learn from his mistakes and improve.

The use of the bench against the Tigers was excellent. Coincidence?

With the new takeover McFFS is Dead Man Walking

The writing's on the wall.

They just cannot now have a low IQ clown front and centre of their business.

Risking the imagery and mockery of another inevitable fade out from a coach without the capacity to learn & who's apparently admitted he never should've been appointed?

Luv saved his bacon for another week

And despite the reports, I'm not convinced Bennett is out of play - it's a marketing game, and they would want the best frontman, and Bennett sells in the media.

And would win us a premiership with the roster we have - and guess who would not be assistant coach? (He passed judgment on Mary long ago)

And he's won 7 Premierships

And the money's there to secure Bennett & pay out Mary's contract

I think we went over this yesterday around making a prediction over how Bennett would go as head coach and dressing up as a fact rather than your personal opinion? Either way you can liken this to another forum member saying 'if xyz were to happen, Mary would take us to a premiership'.

What makes you so sure Bennett could get our young team a premiership when his young Brisbane team are one of the most inconsistent sides in the top 8?

WIN have 50% of the board and us fans have 50% of a coach in McGregor.
Hopefully, better days ahead.
