Your mostly correct, Millard however isn't part of the rat pack.. ...In my humble opinion.

Millward's father - Bob, form the Illawarra faction - and Young's father - Craig from the St George faction - are the two original leaders. Without Bob Millward's influence and deal making his son Ian would not be the director of pathways/recruiting etc. I was told McGreggor was originally put in place after Craig young did a deal for his son Dean to be an assistant coach.

I wish the media would ask our new CEO some questions relating to Mary's performance over the past five years as well as his reasons for selections, bench management and relations with particular players.

It is time B Johnston was asked to explain is decisions in the light the history of Mary's poor performance as coach.

Agree possm.

He's not asked the question because he can't answer the question when our coach has a 50% winning percentage.

Last year, the team should have finished in the top four and the year before didn't make the eight out of sixteen teams.

I imagine that there are many clubs who could form a big pack and flog them during the off-season bringing them to peak fitness for round 1 and then again flog them every game running one out up the middle, climbing to the top of the ladder and finally losing most games because of fatigue and injuries.

Mary has done this for the past few years and never learned from the experience. He is about to do it again in 2019.

Aside from the above, Mary's over all performance; selections, bench management, game plans and bringing through our talented juniors is poor.

I say to the media/press, interview Johnston our new CEO and ask the inconvenient questions. Don't let go, keep on searching and ask the inconvenient questions. Dig deep and expose the 'old boys club', the corruption and the nepotism running rife with SGI management.

Agree 100%

The interview bar is always set very low for Waterboy, who is really only the stooge of the Old Boys’ Club - and easily replaceable by Deano mid season, which seems to be how coaching transitions happen with the faceless ones these days - seamless & under-the-radar nepotism.

Favourites & friends in high places syndrome.

No accountability, no logic, no progressive patterns, no media scrutiny.
Just underhand backroom sticktight greased palm backslapping fu*k the fans boyo stuff.

And Aitken (Lovechild#2):

‘a damn fine player’ , ‘a difference maker ‘ (NRL.com ) WTF certainly has friends in high places - what with the NRL.com match review of March 12 - where, incredibly, under the heading of “And Another Thing” (FFS) his critics were invited to take a ‘chill pill’.

Have never seen such a pointed media directive like that before.

No wonder the backline teamsheet is in duplicate again.

And at some point in time the Latkens will no doubt again be the beneficiaries of being sent through holes via the skill of Hunt, Norman & Widdop - and be made to look better than the bog average they are.

No one would pay to watch their dreary predictability.
Nothing learned in the coaching box from the semis.

Yes Possm,
nothing learned - & the selections are almost designed to confound & irritate the long suffering fans

Like mentor like protege, ‘Bog Ordinary’ is even too kind an epithet for Waterboy

- who would be desperate for the Latkens to be gifted doubles vs the Cows

Not gonna happen Poss,
The media these days are more concerned about gossip & off field tabloid stories than they are about the on field stuff.Anyway L plate is a favourite of the media because in their opinion he is a "good bloke".

Understood, so may I should make up some gossip and off-field stories about Mary that is designed to lead them to the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Would this get things started?

Yeah Possm - go for it.

I’d’ve thought the DUI woulda rid us of him - as it would with most clubs.

His low-bar stupidity gets him the sympathy vote all round

The clown can’t put 2&2 together to realise that if he picks the common sense team, (the more or less consensus team of this forum),then 90% of the social media heat he attracts would dissipate in an instant.

He is the archetypal flagellant - losing so much skin over Lovechild # 1&2

I know one thing for sure - I wouldn’t sign a son up for a Dragons’ pathway with this goose as coach.

If that is true then God help us.

Going to be an interesting post match interview atter this game. This game should be another nail in the coffin of McIdiots coaching career.
Why in the world did we buy Norman and then have our two best attacking players playing out of their favourite positions.
The signing of Norman has to be one of the worst buys in over a decade.
Kiss goodbye the finals this year.
Old Graham did play a solid game, he was about the only one who could hold his head high

Should not have ever signed partyboy. Should have kept the spine the same. Then, Field for 5/8 after that when Widdop leaves

I think Widdop is not ready for NRL.

He was tentative with his defense and dropped the ball a number of times near our line.

Also, He is not a fullback. Norman to Centre, Lomax to other Centre and Lafai and Aikten Gooonnnnnnneeeee!
