We have to win despite the coach. There is a lot of talent in that team. Instead of enjoying the game I sat screaming for Mary to introduce Dufty. My disappointment with losing, a totally natural part of supporting sport is now usurped by a frustration and sheer contempt for the man making the decisions.

We will make the 8 so long as injury doesn't ravage us. That will be enough to renew his contract well and truly. But we will never contest a premiership under this coach as he has too many weaknesses including lack of foresight, flexibility as well as an irrational loyalty towards average first graders. This game was lost before it started and compounded when the only player that could put fear in the opposition was left on the bench.

After 8300 posts in support of his sacking, not an ounce of respect has been shown to the fans, and it is costing dearly when a premiership window is wide open. I give up.

A disgrace we are still asking him to be sacked after 5 seasons. And still he has no idea with team selections after tonights game in the wet puts dufty on in the last 10 minutes of the game down 18 points .

Going to be an interesting post match interview atter this game. This game should be another nail in the coffin of McIdiots coaching career.
Why in the world did we buy Norman and then have our two best attacking players playing out of their favourite positions.
The signing of Norman has to be one of the worst buys in over a decade.
Kiss goodbye the finals this year.
Old Graham did play a solid game, he was about the only one who could hold his head high

Should be, won’t be.

I think Widdop is not ready for NRL.

He was tentative with his defense and dropped the ball a number of times near our line.

Also, He is not a fullback. Norman to Centre, Lomax to other Centre and Lafai and Aikten Gooonnnnnnneeeee!

Widdop isn’t ready for the NRL?

You sir, have won the funniest post in 2019.

It depends on who really pushed for Norman. Was it Millward or Mary? I'm sure there will be a lot of ducking and weaving if Norman continues to disappoint.

After last nights game, I'd say the team is way out of balance with very little organisation. I'd say we need:
More variety at dummy half and so, would like to see Robson at 14 working in rotation with McInnes. Hunt is not a hooker and for certain plays could easily jump into dummy half if planned todo so.
Widdop is playing injured and so adds very little to fullback, you can see he knows what to do but is restricted to the extent that he is not at his best.
Latimore is not the answer, we need the likes of Kerr and Timm on the field to give us some genuine size and go forward.

So for round 2 against Souths, I'd go for:
1. Dufty
2. Pearson
3. Lomax
4. Lafai - he needs to have a good game to keep the 4 jumper
5. Ravalawa
6. Norman
7. Hunt
8. Kerr
9. McInnes
10. Vaughan
11. Host
12. T Sims
13. Frizell

14. Robson
15. Graham
16. Timm
17. Leilua

You're overlooking one thing. Aitken's feelings will be hurt if he's dropped. Have more consideration.

The Dragons equivalent of developing a safe space. A place where the likes of Mary, Hornby, Young, Lafai and Aitken can thrive in a non threatening environment.

After last night there’s not much light at the end of the tunnel.
Poor bench use AGAIN. FMD, it’s amazing that this bloke has still not worked out the modern game is based on getting the best out of the 17 players chosen.
We will win our fair share of games this year because we have a talented squad. Irrespective, I’ll still be haunted by the semi vs. Brisbane when it comes to SuperCoach. His look of ‘how the f**k did that happen’ just about sums him up.
