I will always hope for the win. My only wish is that SGI management keep an open mind and act in the best interest of the Club rather than act according to the grubby backroom deals that have created to further the interests of individuals within management.

I'm happy to go on a losing streak this year IF it meant sacking the cretin and getting a real coach (which would inevitably improve our chances of winning the premiership).

To think the likes of Bennett, McGuire, Seibold, Cleary and Hasler have started anew but our board considers the dope the right man for the right time. Sickening.

I’m unsure whether calling two legendary premiership winners “leeches” is appropriate and/or necessary.

It's nothing about their playing career. So do you believe they have earned their money for their coaching over the past 4 years ? These guys could get near getting a pay packet from the club for over 25 years , that's great if they perform.They did when they were players but really as coaches ?

More than happy to suck the lifeblood out of the club despite having no 1st grade coaching qualifications to warrant their ascension to senior positions.
They are typical offspring of cuckoo birds who fool everybody and push everything else out of the nest

As a long time supporter of the team I hate to say that we should have a losing year in order to get rid of McIdiot.
Eels have given their coach till June before they talk renewing his contract.
I would hope the same time frame is given to McIdiot and if by then we are sitting down in the bottom eight his contract should be terminated straight away.
That gives the club of getting another coach straight away, Toovey comes to mind.
Any coach with his salt would be drooling to coach a team with our roster.
What ever happens this must be McIdiots last year

Doust told me early last season I was not a "true" supporter when I told him I would not be forking out my money for membership whilst L plate was coach.I have decided to pay for Fox instead so I can watch them,however I will still attend games that I can get to even though I'm not a "true" supporter. LOL

Mary's situation is fairly unique in professional sport. In NRL the only coach that comes close to him would be Ricky Stuart ( in his 6th season at Canberra, 46% win ratio, one finals appearance) v Mary (6th season , 50%, scraped into two finals). In other professional sports like English Premier League coaches are booted if they lose two or three games in a row or fail to make the finals in their first year. The fact that the Dragons are reported to be seriously considering an extension to Mary's contract before the season is even over proves this club is miles away from being a professional organisation despite the expectations raised by the arrival of Bruce Gordon and his money.
