Ridiculous isnt it....but IMO it should never have been an experiment.
Our starting centres should be Williame & Lomax in Round 3

But McGlassHalf Full sees everything different to most and is happy to reach glass half full and will always view it that way. he learnt that in the US last XMAS.
50% win ratio is OK you see..it means we are likely finals bound in 7th or 8th.
He even still reminds everyone we might be 0-2 but we should of won the first 2 games. We did not get beaten..we beat ourselves.(translation:...we really are a good enough side that I prepare to win...we should be 2-2....I did my job)
Did I say he lost the plot , Nah silly statement , he never had it to start with ......

SACK HIM NOW PLEASE

WE RATE B- AND WARRIOTS D+

BUT THE WRITER (MARK ST JOHN) VERY KEEN ON AITKEN

Dragons: 1. Matt Dufty 2. Jordan Pereira 3. Brayden Wiliame 4. Euan Aitken 5. Zac Lomax 6. Corey Norman 7. Ben Hunt 8. James Graham 9. Cameron McInnes 10. Paul Vaughan 11. Tyson Frizell 12. Tariq Sims 13. Blake Lawrie 14. Trent Merrin 15. Josh Kerr 16. Isaac Luke 17. Korbin Sims

Backs: The Dragons backline is expected to welcome back Euan Aitken as they bid to bounce back from a 0-2 start to their campaign. Zac Lomax’s fullback experiment appears over with Matt Dufty given the chance to cement the position for the foreseeable future. Much depends on how Ben Hunt and Corey Norman go about igniting the Dragons’ attack.

Forwards: The Dragons look set to have everyone except Jack de Belin to choose from when the revamped season kicks off. Cameron McInnes is the big in for the club at hooker and captain, while Korbin Sims will provide depth to the club’s front row stocks after overcoming a broken arm.

Rating: B-

Warriors: 1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2. Gerard Beale 3. Patrick Herbert 4. Peta Hiku 5. Ken Maumalo 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Blake Green 8. Adam Blair 9. Wayde Egan 10. Lachlan Burr 11. Eliesa Katoa 12. Tohu Harris 13. Isaiah Papali’i 14. Jazz Tevaga 15. Nathaniel Roache 16. Kodi Nikorima 17. Jamayne Taunoa-Brown

Backs: The Warriors look set to be without David Fusitu’a for Round 3, after he was a late arrival in Australia. The Warriors backline also faces the dilemma of their best halves pairing although it seems likely Kodi Nikorima’s immediate future lies on the bench as a utility.

Forwards: The Warriors are facing a forwards crisis after season ending injuries to Jackson Frei and Bunty Afoa. Leeson Ah Mau and Nathaniel Roach are not expected back until mid-season at the earliest leaving a massive hole in the club’s engine room stocks.

Rating: D+
Very similar in a way , we have Aitken playing , they have Gerard Beale playing for them .... Goes to show both teams have no idea , I would not have either player in my team .... Gerard Beale for me has never lived up to all the hype .....

100% agree. If you're going to spend an entire off season developing (well, Lomax isn't being developed lets be honest) and to quit it after one game is stupid. but its Mary so its par for the course. Assures the poor kid hes going to be fullback, quoted as such, articles written, and one game the assurance means shit. Just like his word. Just like his outlook on football and life. f**k him.

In my mind Lomax isn't a fullback, hes a centre.
Dufty is a fullback, but is he the best fullback we have? Probably not. Ramsey should be our long term prospect as should the Feg twins.
A back-line of

1) Ramsey
2) Fegai
3) Lomax
4) Fegai
5) Rava

has me harder than sheet metal. Coached by mcf**kwit and viagra injected directly into my cock would'nt help

Well, well, well

Ryan Webb
On Day 43
Getting a bit dusty in the bunker
Lots of footprints & scuffing

Thing’s are afoot on the leaking good ship Taj

& Albert’s got the signal

(& Deano’s getting his real mentor back
& he’s lookin’ out for the kid)

Finally

- once you chuck Andrew
the lifeline, get him on board & resuscitate
(Albeit in a rather lacerated condition)

So the Rupert boys have turned:

(The FOX in the WINhouse)

& Rothfield was right
& Kent too’s got the leak from Albert

(Or FMD was it you Ryan?
Nah, too green)

...2 Murdoch leaks doth a summer make

Anyway onya Albert, you’ve put 2:heavy_plus_sign:2 together

.... & seen that McGoner’s fuc/Jed yous over way too long.

No amount of puffpiecing from Lozza or Gould can plug this leak

...& Aitken’s just sunk another lifeboat & tangled more ropes

I knew there was somethin’ good & sensible inside that big chest Albert

...it’s ‘All Overboard’ for The Board - every man for himself

& the creaking & smashing & busted decanters, as the music died
amid
the
splashing & clutching at flotsam

Someone’s clinging to that portrait of Provan

It’s Albert & Deano! WTF

And so it goes ....
Murdoch’s back with a coach

.... as the McAitken show moves on to Dapto
Their own Punch & Judy
Their own private pantomime

...and their last miserable hurrah

....

BLM01,
Your last line sums up the problem " I prepare the side to win .... I did my job" That is supercoaches mentality IMO. Its not his fault we have brain fades etc its the underlings that cant get the job done heck its even the players ( and its the team he wants every year ) that cant pass the ball or be in the correct position even though they were doing the right thing a tackle before , and its not his fault when opposition scores off kicks but its cool when we do ... I am not looking forward to the smirk he gives after the warriors game it will be one of See I am a great coach the first losses were the players fault ( I am thinking that with depoleted forwards warriors may just let us get there ) Im not really sold on bennett returning as I dont want to jeopardise the young kids with waynes win it now policy , Lets just punt supercoach and get flanno / shep to run the place

I get Rava aint a popular choice, but just imo he has a lot of upside under a great coach. Hell, a half decent coach.
If im wrong, im wrong, but Id rather give him a regular shot than Aitken of Lafai on the f**king wing. It seems poor Saab has fallen out of favour as has JP. So who else is there?
Saab has the height, JP has the heart, Rav has the power. No speed among them. If we could get a sprint coach for Saab id be happy

Yeah but the poor warriors have got a Mary excuse but this one is legitimate. A list of I’m available players that no side wants but they’re also coached by possibly a worse coach than McPaddles if that’s possible

Day 39
Ryan Webb

Persevering with The Waterboy in the face of the evidence?

So
- the Bookies are wrong?
- the Fans are wrong?
- the Players are wrong?
- the Results are wrong?
- the Stats of 113yrs are wrong?
- the Financials are wrong?

But

Mc56/57, The Board & the arse-licking cronies are right?

....and it’s full steam ahead for The Spoon?

Is there a word in the English language Andrew that describes this self destruction?

Instantaneous Combustion !

Agree mate, I think the whole team needs a good coach to bring out the best in them.
Hopefully, sooner rather than later.

Yeah, and I do wonder if
Ryan Webb
on his Day 44
thinks we need a good coach too
FFS?

Or is business as usual business well managed

- and there are no realities beyond the Boardroom Bubble eh?

So Andrew’s looking for the leaker & ain’t talking to Albert?

Poor head-down Benny doesn’t rate our prospects:

“Hunt admitted that if the Dragons were to meet the same fate as they did last year, he fears for his Origin jumper.

“I think it could harm a lot of people’s chances and myself," he said

"I think if coaches are smart, you will be taking into account that some blokes are a bit underdone if they’re not making finals.”

Those words are riddled with what’s called in the trade
‘self-fulfilling prophecy.’

AKA the Choker syndrome

And predictably,
Sportsbet have us bottom 4 again

....so yeah, it’s business as usual eh Ryan

& our new CEO’s just Andrew’s lapdog?

At least you won’t have to account for what would’ve probably been the worst attendance in Club history

a saving grace for the ‘down & out’

...but you’ll be flogging that dead horse
rather than merchandise.

Nothing like that coach-inspired confidence of your half as exhibited above

- sorta hangs around like a bad smell in the changeroom

debilitating

...like The Turd-That-Will-Not-Sink Turnstile’s carefully leaked political reappointment after his sensational non-form in Rd 1&2

which will get those backs cracking at Campbelltown this year (won’t that be an excuse).

Yeah right
6years déjà vu

That clear anticipation of failure embedded in Benny’s lament
lingers eh?

as nothing changes,
with the farce of Zac winged & juniors denied

You must sit at your desk & sigh WTF Andrew
let your mate go

Well Ryan Webb
On DAY 45

Kinda looks like that International Marketing of Andrew’s Club’s

falling on deaf ears
falling a bit flat
...the residue of our failures now international
....as as toxic as the virus

Their resonances deafening

Thanks Avo, thought you’d abandoned the thread - but we’ll continue the fight for Club & country

...but
Ryan,

Mary McGrexit’s USA today’s tweet simply echoes all those

(by then carefully vetted, redacted & sanitised of course)

emails, texts & letters at your desk
- you know, the ones that you ever-so-diligently pass on to The Board as you rebuild the Club

....along with the general consensus & tone

of the 13,917 posts for the SACK MCGREGOR thread
(soon to outstrip your membership tally FFS)

upload_2020-5-21_8-34-40.png

... our Slow Draw McGraw

....our bumbling, smiling Sheriff en route to ambushes on the Central Coast & in lawless Campbelltown

The Fox Lab has us with the 2nd toughest draw - one that couldn’t happen to a ‘nicer’ bloke

Only the virus, Andrew or the floundering Board will save McFail in 2020

Get ready for ‘Excuses at 10 Paces’

....with our very own Trumpian
Fool On The Hill

The second worst coach in history

Nah our bloke is worst he holds records for all the wrong reasons and he will break a few more on his way to completely f**king this once great club along with the board of Monkees.....

2nd worst longterm coach in 113 years
56th out of the 57 coaches

That's THE record that says it all

Totally spinless & spineless

Indefensible

Bennett shafting him for the second time will be priceless

....maybe reborn as McConerunner
- just to see out his contract
& keep those footprints happening perhaps?)

The sacking would be a presser bonanza
Ryan could sell tickets to

...an expiation for us all

-

Announcing Bennett soon will stop the talent leakage & give him time to recruit in advance.

He won us the minor premiership first year & then the title!
- probably the best ever record for a new coach since the 70's?

2022 is way too late for Flanno

- and our need is beyond assistants
- & multiple assistants' syndrome

So Bennett midyear is the go
- & makes sense IMO.
Surely
Rothfield & Kent can't be wrong
on what seems like a double leak.

...and the leaker(s) must be frustrated that the Media's burying the story.

Just get Bennett to deny it & you know it's real

Only Andrew Gordon's stubbornness stands in the way
