“Sheds are burning.”

Now that the club is broke
The blood and bandage and the scarlet folk
The board sits pleased and comfortable
Its deaf to all it hears.

The time has come
To say fairs fair
To punt Mary out
If you care

The time has come
The stats are fact
The club belongs to us
Now give it back

How can we cheer when our sheds are burning?
How do you sleep when your fans are turning?
How to we play when the earth is turning?
All of us sick of your ugly spurning.

The time has come
To end this farce
To kick Mary out
On his ass.

“ Sometimes”

I know, that the tv empire shudders and shakes
I know, Webby wrestles with his conscience
I say, the executive does Mr Gordon’s bidding
I say, hear the punch drunk swallow pr drivel...

Sometimes you’re beaten by your club
Sometimes,
Sometimes you’re taken to the wall...

Sometimes, the flogs are in control Sometimes
Sometimes your team is coached to fall.

But you don’t give in.

I know, that the board members wear smart suits and ties.
I know that Millwards list but a blank page
I say, hold tight and believe in each other
I say, don’t leave your heart in a hard place.

Sometimes your beaten to the top sometimes
Sometimes your club is going to fall....

But you don’t give in....

Fireproof, or melting in the furnace? The coaches under the most pressure in the NRL

3. PAUL MCGREOR

The Dragons are 2-5 and coming off an unthinkable second last placed finish in 2019, with only the Titans denying them the wooden spoon.

The Red V faithful have been calling for McGregor’s head for a while now. A petition to have him sacked was started last year and the poor start to this season saw the petition grow legs again in the last month.

McGregor has been under fire from the very first ball the Dragons kicked this season. It reached boiling point after his men were completely outclassed by the embattled Warriors and then lost to the Bulldogs the following week. He fronted the media after the game in a solemn interview and said he wasn’t afraid of losing his job but would understand if the decision to sack him was made.

The board called an emergency meeting 24 hours after to discuss his future and just about every person outside of the Dragons’ inner circle was convinced McGregor be shown the door. He wasn’t. The board declared it was “committed” to McGregor and will “continue to support” him, but again those words don’t carry much weight in this unpredictable environment.

Back-to-back wins against the Sharks and Titans followed by a decent performance against the Roosters has eased the pressure a little and the relentless media coverage has now shifted to Seibold but that doesn’t mean McGregor is out of the woods yet.

So McCovid believes the Clune/Norman combination is working well & building ?? There is no doubt Norman is the new so called head coaches new “Lafai”. Will never lose his spot no matter how he plays. Unbelievable !

These journos still cant see the forest for the trees
The pressure has been eased has it by how good we are going...pfffttt
Sharks....,OK...1 game and they admitted they played poor but a different coaching style and we get a W
Injury riddled Titans..lose 3 backs..0 points second half...now that was a big W
Injury riddled Roosters..lose 3 forwards..2 points second half..in front 12-10.....lost 16-0 last 30 mins

Mary's 2nd halfs of everything in general have been poor whether it be on field performance, season performance or Game Plan B
Just when o when will they stop papering over our cracks with fluff

Tonight Raiders 42..Dragons 6...I dont hope that but was relaying a dream from last night.

Unfortunately we need to keep losing....otherwise no pressure from journos...

Watching the Roosters v Storm game last night, the improvement in Kyle Flanagan in such a short time is unbelievable. I know he is playing behind a great pack but his general kicking, general play and goal kicking have all improved out of sight. Just goes to show a quality coach and organisation (hurts me to wrap the Roosters) gives younger players the chance to demonstrate their ability and gain confidence to do so. Unfortunately I cannot say that about our club at present......no wonder potential first graders are leaving us, can you blame them ! If we don’t do something about it soon it will take many years to get us back to where we should be, the same place the Roosters are now !

Don’t worry it’s only been 6 years but according to Mary we are still improving
the young blokes are still learning
But tonight was the night the changing of the guard the senior players were all thrown under the bus in the press conference with a little bit of Dufty and Rav thrown into the mix
Mary says our first half and missed opportunities in the 2nd is not up to 1st grade standard
Well you may ask
who is the driver of this bus?
Who is the conductor of this orchestra?
Who prepares and trains to get the team ready for each week?
Or just simply let’s ask
why do we play like we’re not up to 1st grade standard?

The answer is
it’s not McWinLittle’s fault...let’s look elsewhere

Another week another update
2020 - 25%
2019 - 33%
No top eight winS
Since around 9 - 2018 18 from 49 - 36.7%
One win in all that time against a top 8 side in a semi final
We all know who
We can all see the trend
We all know the answer
But when will it all ever end

But the Gus says nah nah nah there's no point at all in getting rid of mary....in what world does this moron live.....you don't perform you're out the door. That's the way it's been since professional sports began. These fools that run the place don't deserve any fans following the club .
