Totally agree there CC and both were club legends as players, however both were proven as complete dud coaches that linger based on reputation and the arse wipers in charge not wanting to lose face.

Mate the way they are running things , if it stays the same they will be out of a job soon because we wont be around much longer . Doust and his monkeys wont care as they have suck every bit of goodness out of the team the club , and most of them will retire happy ......

It's so frustrating seeing our club go from one disaster to another.

It's all because Doust and Mary are still at the helm.Blind Freddy can see what needs to be done and the board won't do it.

Instead they appoint a board to tell them what's wrong with the club, when actually they are the problem and need to go.

They will not listen to us fans when we have given them all the answers on this forum or at least very good suggestions.

The board,Doust,Mary are all placing their self above the best interest of the club.. it's disgraceful.. I work in local government and see this behaviour all the time.Managment trying desperately to hold their jobs,not what is best for the people they serve just protect their jobs at all costs like Doust and co..

It's just pure greed! I can't wait for the day Mary and Doust leave. We can't improve until Mary leaves this club.

100% agree Emu01 , those leeches who sit on the board also know that in season 2017 that once again we will be baying for Mary's blood. , and to a lesser degree , their own .

However they are smart enough to realise that with a new coach ( please let that be the case ) on the scene come 2018 , that the fans screams for change at the top level will be somewhat nullified .

Quite simply , they know that we shall be bemoaning McGregor's coaching abilities next season , thus the blame will once again sit firmly on his shoulders , not theirs , as should be the case .
With the arrival of a new coach in 2018 they , the board , will have survived for yet another season , as they have set-up our beloved Mary as the scapegoat for next year . Make no mistake , Mary deserves to have the noose around his
head after last seasons misery , however next year 2017 ?

Who will truly be at fault for a unsuccessful 2017 season . Mary because he simply does not have it as a 1st grade coach , or the Board , who are certainly aware of his lack of ability ,for allowing him to remain at the helm for yet another year , and have failed to take the appropriate measures to rectify the fault , as would be expected of any SUCCESSFUL nrl club ?

Yes but out of the 83,300 posts there would possibly be 80,000 odd posts from the same people which would possibly be a couple of hundred in real terms
If it were 83,300 individuals posting comments this would have a much greater effect
The forum needs to attract more members and lots of them to be taken seriously by the club

What worries me is that the board are not smart enough to realise that if they replace Mary they will take the heat off themselves for awhile at least. Purely dumb management. As for the committee, I cannot understand this as they seem to want to waste good dollars to support Mary giving the impression that they will not sack him any time soon.

You are 100% correct and we need to be scared that it could in fact happen.
I suggest sleeping in the foetal position, try sucking your thumb and sleeping with light on to see if that helps.
I did it after the Charity Shield game last year and it sort of helped especially when the doomsday theory got bagged early on.
When the reality of where we were sunk in I was able to revert back to just drinking heavily.

I would like to give you a definite no , however you and I , and I believe the majority of Dragon supporters realise
by now , that the Board does not think in the conventional way , what is ' black and white ' to us is ' pink and blue ' to them .

The real problem with extending Mary's contract is that they will not be able to attract any player of genuine quality to the club , whilst he is the coach . The big money on offer in season 2018 will mean very little to the players who wish to further their careers , Mary simply cannot do that . I sincerely hope that McGregor can get the Dragons to breath fire once again , and take them as far as possible next season , however I also want next year to be his swan-song .
