I work for a company that is results driven
1 senior boss had the knack of achieving great results for 2 years constantly. The following year not so great but due to the previous years was cut some slack after 3 months. He thought he was irreplaceable. Come the 4th month he was out on his ears as the board thought he couldn’t step up. Now this guy was eating around 5-600 grand a year and had a lot of contacts in the industry yet the minute the board felt no we can’t go further with him they launched him out the door.
What is it with this McGregor the SGI board sees that no one else can see. I am baffled that he has 1- Was appointed as a coach in the 1st instance.
2- that he has been rewarded with 2 contract extensions on what results.
I would like to ask the board under what guidelines they use is it that you decide what coach can improve and get results
