I consider myself a very staunch supporter (who has been calling for his sacking since an inept Manly flogged us in 2016) but I have found myself really questioning my commitment to the club that ignores its fans and is, to put bluntly, run very unprofessionally.

I am a loyal person, who can cop a lot. It makes me wonder how many fans have been lost the last few years. Our statistics have been decimated and the next stop will be even lower crowds and then being forced to die or relocate all over again.

I realise one win can do a lot to turn this around but that seems a mile away.
Mate I agree with everything you say and I think during this difficult and sad time for want of a better word some of us are questioning our loyalty and committment to the club..... but let me say this as a supporter of my beloved Dragons for over 60 years I may wain a little and certainly get frustrated and pissed off many times but I am bloody determined that this current imposter of a coach and the hierachy will never be the ones that drive me away ...
And in answer to your last paragraph imo it will take a lot more than one win to turn our predicament around

The current board/owners/staff of the club won't drive me away from the Dragons but while they are in charge they don't get my money or time. Currently a beautiful organization with a proud history is being busted out by these bugs. For reference watch the movie Goodfellas and the mob draining a restaurant of every last potential dollar

The problem for our beloved Saints is that there is no immediate solution here. Collectively, the fans, and now media can see that Mary has to go. Assuming he's sacked before 2021, which I doubt, it then becomes the old case of "rebuilding".

The board and management remains.

A new coach is appointed, and depending on that coach will want his own support staff, roster reshape and so forth. That takes time. It also takes the SUPPORT of the board. Heck, this is the same board overall that has kep Mary on for this long. Who has faith that we will go out now for an established coach and not burden him with x, y or z, as thats the way we do things?

In short, the ill advised extension (twice), of our current coach will have set us back years. The so called " window of winning a title" has gone. Players will revolt or we will have to pay massive overs to secure talent.

Many here / social media believe that Tyson's statement was enough last night, and that there is no split in the camp. All he did was say that he is under contract until next year. No more no less. The sceptic in me suggests he was almost forced to address the rumours. When is the last time we had a player was forced to dispel a rumour in public? 2014, Brett Morris.

Tough time to be a Dragons fan. Been a decade since we competed, and it will take some massive changes at both coaching and board level for us to compete anytime soon.

Tru exactly this mate , changes need to happen soon , but I doubt that ....all coaches need a clean out , it will take another 5 years of building again with a new coach with new ideas , but can this club continue another 7 years if everything stays in place .....?

Plus we have reached 500 pages!
Sack McGregor NOW!
Momentum seems to be growing on other sites too, The Roar, etc. His 'coaching' style, the puzzling contract extension early this year, followed by a string of losses, the Ben Hunt 'resting', lack of junior development, etc, are being openly aired by sports commentators and journos where before there was a wall of silence. Surely even the Dragons' complacent and nepotistic management can't believe that somehow McGregor is going to magically morph into a Craig Bellamy or Wayne Bennett in the next two years and propel this team to a grand final victory.
