Sad bastard music

So my team has once again let slip a golden opportunity to win a premiership, and I'm indulging in some abject self-pity and misery - a phenomenon somewhat unfamiliar to me, as I am usually a cheerful, happy kinda guy. Anyway, at the moment I'm listening to some perfectly gloomy old school blues, and I'm really enjoying the heart-wrenching Billie Holliday. But I'd like to compile an extensive soundtrack of sadness to maintain this pit of despair - anyone got any track-list suggestions?

Good on you. Schadenfreude is indeed fun, and thanks to the Sharks I've been enjoying it all my life. However, I've now moved on to despair, and frankly, I'd kinda hoped a Scum fan as pitiful as you would have more to offer this thread than just one song and a lame smiley. Disappointing.

And russle, thanks man, but I dont actually want something to cheer me up - I'd prefer to stay sad. I want music made by people even more depressed than myself. I only want to be empathised with, really.
