I just heard that he lost his brave fight with leukemia & passed away this morning - only 26 years old, married with 3 young daughters.

Terrible news, in our drive to the preliminaries in 07 our forward pack was nearly completely depleted due to injury Sam was one of the unsung heroes. Remember it taking him half a dozen games to miss his first tackle in first grade.
