I know it seems that way, but the interim has a hard job to keep all the bruised egos in check and get everyone motivated to put in.. I feel this would have been easier early season, but rly hard making a change after this many losses and no easy teams coming.
I was banking on the raiders to arrest our 11 game losing streak.. but they are in form now too.. not sure where our win will come from.. maybe an epic effort against the roosters or dolphins.. we need to beat someone..at some point..
Well, let's hope hook is gone this week. Things can only improve after this happens.
Personally I put them in the same basket as Hook. No clue in attack and defence. I’m over our backs rushing up and creating gaps in defence. This is under 6s stuff
Look, you cannot expect a player to come and bag his coach. They will always say they're behind the coach 100%, it's not his fault, etc, when fronting the media. Cobbo is the only player who didn't do that, and he was roundly criticised by all and sundry. An inexperienced player who should've been coached better to keep his mouth shut. Lawrie is just giving the standard response. It would be a shocking look to have a player come and say the coach doesn't know what he's doing. I doubt the media will be allowed to interview Sullivan, but if they do, you can bet he's not going to bag hook in public.

Agree 100% getsmarty. Amone is definitely not the goods. He has no penetration and misses tackles. He lacks power and aggression, vision and has poor decision making in attack and defence. I would just let him linger in the KOE Cup for the rest of the year or at least until his court case is heard and finalised. I am really not a keen fan of his. There were a couple of times in yesterday's game that he showed hesitation with his passing as if he wasn't too sure what he should do with it. Get rid of him I say.
We have a number of reserve graders playing first grade at the moment, Amone is on that list, as are the Fegai brothers.
Similar with Hunt, if it turns out they are just being loyal.. I cant fault them on that.. but the proof will be in how they act under the new coach.. or the interim for that matter.
Already we know that we are done like a dinner this year FlameThrower. Many of us forecast that we would lose these "weaker" games and I think that we are deadset odds on to not win any, maybe one at best, of the remaining games the way that things have panned out with new coach, sacking of players etc. To me, the club is running on crisis mode and there is no-one capable of diffusing the unrest and divide running through the club.

100% on all of the above.......It's still got me stuffed how we gave Liddle a 2 year extension then dropped him...........it defies logic the shit thats taking place in this circus atm......if you had a devious mind one would dare to think sabotage is alive and well in some quarters
