Was thinking of getting it...anyone heard it?

Ive had it for about 2 weeks now, yeah its alright, not as good as I was expecting, although some of the songs are growers and im just coming around on a couple of the songs now.
The paper review gave it 4/5, if that helps.
Although I would only rate it 3/5.
I would recommend it though.

It's a good album. IMO not as good as the first, but it could certainly grow on me more. Well worth buying.

It's definetley different to the first album, but I would highly reccommend purchasing it!

Hopefully they do a sideshow or two when they are out here for the big day out as well.

Since I wrote that, this album has grown on me alot more,
I would defantely recommend it, while keeping in mind
to listen to it knowing the songs will grow so give it time.

In fact I lift my rating from 3/5 to 4/5

I bought it today and really like it. I don't think it's a "singles" album like Hot Fuss was but the quality is definently there...

Grows with each listen...

A good album, although quiet hard to listen to at first. Personal favourites are Sam's Town, Bling, Read My Mind and Uncle Jonny. The bonus track is pretty good as well.

Apparently 'Bones' will be the next single.

Total slow burner... but OMG its addictive once you break down the initial barriers. 10 times better than Hot Fuss IMO.

Yeah - i am very unimpressed with the album.
i loved the first one and this sams town is quite a departure from hot fuss.
none of the songs really sound like potential singles, and only time will tell if it will last the distance. Im gonna go ahead and say no. 2/5
