imo GTA San Andreas owns it and everyother game out there, I have never seen a game so big and so many different features and freedom to interact

I think you have got it wrong there mate as Halo is a straight run and gun shooter with the best AI and shooting mechanics going around.

San Andreas is great but has many a technical problem and is only a single player game. Halo 2 has the best Multiplayer set up ever seen, with gameplay on par with the top PC titles.

Personally I can't wait to see GTA:SA on other platforms, I just don't think the PS2 can handle it properly.

That is a mini game just whacked on for a bit of fun.

It isn't a fully fleshed out gaming experience like Halo2.

i would of said gta but after getting xbox live and playing multiplayer on halo 2 ive switched my pick lol, halo 2 online is about as fun as a game will ever be..i know thats a fairly big statment but the game runs smooth and no lag at all.

Halo, good plot, great single player, even better multi-player.
GTA is good, but not great. Seems the same as the past few with just some additions. You could get a piece of shit, call it gta and people would still go crazy over it.

I'm not into Halo 2... my mate bought it at the midnight release and played it for a while, but both of us weren't really all that impressed to be honest, the single players campeign is very weak (shithouse story to) and it's not really that much of a step forward from the original... Last I heard he'd taken it back because of how uninspired he was by the game... I guess I'd have to say GTA (apparently so does gamespot.com too, they gave Halo 2 9.4 and GTA 9.6).

That game has nothing, crap mechanics, crap AI the only thing it has is extreme violence.

Counterstrike isn't even a single player game.

San Andreas is great but if you are going to knock Halo 2 atleast throw in some worthy competition, like Half Life.
