The fact is that if Creagh knew Sa was about to make contact with him he wouldnt of been poleaxed into next tuesday.
The fact is that Sa was trying to smash Creagh into oblivion from the get go. Having the football - haha, since when's that been important.

As i said above, i'd love to see the reaction from you chookies if it were pearce on his ass.

lets see your reaction when pearce is fked up in the same way.

there's nothing wrong the physicallity of the hit. it's the fact creagh never had, or looked like receiving the football.

I don't know what you were watching but personally, the play went so fast i had no idea what was about to happen as Rogers was running a good line and i thought he'd end up giving a late ball to Creagh.

FMD this game is getting soft!

Accidents happen, its a tough sport, legal or not, Sa couldnt pull out and was committed to the tackle.
Anyone that says that it was an elbow or bicep are f**king kidding themsleves. Head clash did the damage and anything that may have happened after the fact is all speculation and guess work. No one has any idea what 'would' have happened if he had not clashed heads unless of course you have a Masters in Biomechanics as well as being Nostradamis.
It was unsavoury but thats footy.
Be it Creagh or Pearce or Anasta, if anyone has played the game, you would know that things happen at speed and in those conditions its very hard to pull out or avoid heavy contact when rushing in to prevent a try being scored.
It was just bad luck.

he(pearce) has been knocked around all year and gets up and gets on with it without complaint.

couldnt agree more!

the guys on here that make comments have probably never picked up a footy in their lives. They think footballers have a lot of seconds to make decisions like that, not to mention the fact it was pouring rain and 5m out from the try line.

Its all split second stuff. It doesnt go through SAs head 'Oh here we go baby... count down from 10 and then im going to smash creagh with my head and hopefully knock him out so i can only get a few stiches but he is out of the game... Woohoo Horrah.'

Comon people... common sense please.

well first contact there is the bicep but hitting lower on creagh than i had thought ... where are the next few shots?

Its tough to get frame by frame shots from the NRL website (sort of a hit and miss affair with the pause button and screen printing), but I'll see what I can come up with.

Basically every time I tried to get the next shot both parties are already separated.

that cool - the bar has been set ... prepare for less scupulous coaches to take advantage of the precedent ...

dont for a minute think that Gallen wont be sweating on hits like this .. or Watmough ..

Ennis for sure will have this one filed away in his brain cell for the game against the roosters ...

are you trying to scare someone? one of the roosters?

They are big boys... much bigger then you i imagine. They can look after themselves and would be only to happy to tell you how much of a pansy you are.

What precedent are you talking about?

Its been happening all year and will continue to happen.
Its entirely up to the Referee if they want to penalise for it.
but you think Sa should be suspended for a Head Clash?! :?

Im positive that we will see it in the Finals Series.
Like I said above, it was an accident and anyone who actually plays the game knows that at speed, things can go wrong and being a contact sport, people get hurt.

looks to me like Sa was coming into assist Pearce and Fitzy in the tackle and Creagh has run into him- mmm maybe creagh should have been cited for taking a defender out??

People who want Sa suspended are a bunch of serious wimps and are the people that are transforming our game into touch footy.

I mean please... 5m out from your line in pouring wet weather, the threat of inside balls and getting caught with your feet stuck in the turf.

Obviously with creagh running a strong line he was going to put his body on the line. A head clash resulted in creagh being knocked out but its a CONTACT sport people... this stuff happens.

Had they gone second man and scored no one would of said a thing.
Had SA not made that contact and creagh got the ball it would of been try time and a towelling for SA.

He did what any right minded NRL player would do.

Those who think differently:
1. Get your eyes checked
2. Enroll at your nearest netball club
3. Turn it up you pansies.

if that was a Mitchell Pearce/Jonathon Thurston/Darren Lockyer running that line and getting hit like that then whoever did it would have no chance to play the next week and there is no way anyone could say they would get off

An absolute disgrace with Omeley being charged for what basically was a slight tap and as for Sa there was nothing at all in it - another slight tap.

It's getting to stage that even womens netball will become more physical than mamby pamby rugby league.

i can see it know in the not too distant future a nrl touch football comp replacing the tackle version

Wow, two slight taps that knocked one out and dazed the other. I like it, f*cking bring it on now. You cant tackle a player without the ball, its a simple rule. Now you can though so aim up everyone, the NRL has finally approved a bloodbath.

I take Mason's knee as a karma thing, the fat turd should be sitting next to the other flop O'Meley.
