Mark the above date down in your diaries. I will be a definite starter in Parkes that weekend and if anyone else is interested in going down let me know. I know a few people have already expressed some interest and if enough is shown we may be able to organise a bus to take us out.

The game is a night game and will be played against the Roosters.

That should be a good game to see where we're at for next year. Roosters are the best in the competition and the ideal way to start the season would be to match it with em.

Desri, I know there is and I am working to get some confirmation now.

Colonel, I want to take the Big Blue Car down to streach it's legs and maybe make a detour 2 hours out of parramatta, there is this interesting, 6 or so kilometres of road I want to check out.

Yeah it would be part of the Bathurst Regional Council; actually it would be the BRC's so called "Jewel in their crown" according to the website

And Desri, Just spoke with last years promoters ISA about a Parramatta game, and was told if there is one ISA was not promoting it. But the Person at ISA said that Tony Z was talking about taking on a lower class team (not NRL and Not the Berley Bears) in the region during talks to hold a game up there, the games ISA are promoting are Broncos Vs Storm and Roosters Vs Penrith.

Watch for the coppers on Conrod Straight, I've heard they can be nasty when they want to be - unless they like what your driving. You aren't making much of a detour really..... best way to go is through Bathurst. ;-)

Yep Yep, just as you go over the rise down into the cutting, they sit on he left hand side of the road. The funny thing is they can hear you coming but you can't see them till it's all over.

That is why you do two laps, first is to sight the cars parked on track and if the cops are in there position you do that lap at 60 (maybe a little more over the top of the Mountain), if all is clear, blast through the chase, down into Murrys and start a flyer.

Coffs would be nice that is a good 4-6 hour drive but if you take the coast road it isn't that hard and hopefully we will be able to bring some respectability to rugby league in the place

Parkes, Griffith and Coffs, is a bit here there and everywhere isn't it. And don't we have to play the tigers in the Charity Challenge.

Eels on Wheels.

And I think we play one NRL side - Parkes and the other two are against club sides. Don't quote me on that. I would assume the Charity Challenge will be after the Parkes Trip or close to.
