So is that what this "emerging nations" tournament is going to be now? Regions?

So we'll have Scandinavia, Latin Heat and who else? They recently had that Africa United team play in Sydney so maybe they'll draft them in. If Malta wanted a run I don't know what that would mean for them.

It will have its detractors and I'd say they'll be in the majority.

Looks like they're gonna go the opposite way to what we'd all hoped, as usual.

A competition with fully home-grown teams getting the chance to travel and curtain raise to some WC games is what I would have hoped.

Maybe the Faroe Islands, Iceland & Finland were upset they were not included.

But seriously can you name any other sport in the world that has Scandinavia as a team.

Will it just be Aussies who have a grandparent / parent from that region.

to be honest there's no point even running a competition like this if you're not going to have standalone nations play! Latin Heat, Scandinavia, Africa United should schedule matches with each other.
