I hate when commentators say "good" pitch when they mean flat. Flat is not good.
4.5 an over. If we don't get Kohli cheaply they have a real chance.
I could see them going 3 an over in the middle session to avoid losing a wicket then with 9 wickets in hand late in the game they unleash and go run a ball in the final session.
we often turn the volume down and turn the ABC radio commentary on
Its a tough spot for curators really because what CA wants is a test match going 5 days but a result on the last ball for $$$$$ reasons.
Where as a fan I think a pitch that produces a result in say 3 and a half days is more exciting than one that doesn't in five. Yeah I miss out on a days cricket but its exciting watching.
If the game was already over because it was fast there would be whinging that the pitch wasn't sporting. A sporting pitch these days is just code for flat as the street for batsmen to fill their boots.
Harsh on a bloke in his second test. His fielding has been fine elsewhere. As I said yesterday, its stupid they just throw the most recent player in there, when everywhere else is just the best fielder for that position.Agreed, he is an absolute shit fielder. I think he has cost us more runs that he's made.

LOL Quality sledge on Lyon from Carl Barron.
Carl Barron is hilarious but that was one of the worst interviews I have ever seen.
Slater with some f**king terrible questions.
Cricket Australia will kill Test Cricket if these pitches continue in the future, bowlers will break down trying to bowl on this nonsense,no kid out there will want to become a bowler.
Where does he normally field for QLD?
