Nothing will happen until the final session where India will have a mini collapse and give everyone false hope but will ultimately end in a draw

4.5 an over. If we don't get Kohli cheaply they have a real chance.

I could see them going 3 an over in the middle session to avoid losing a wicket then with 9 wickets in hand late in the game they unleash and go run a ball in the final session.

4.5 an over isn't exactly easy in test cricket. Smith can put every man on the fence and instruct the bowlers to bowl two foot wide of off if he wants to.

Its a tough spot for curators really because what CA wants is a test match going 5 days but a result on the last ball for $$$$$ reasons.

Where as a fan I think a pitch that produces a result in say 3 and a half days is more exciting than one that doesn't in five. Yeah I miss out on a days cricket but its exciting watching.

If the game was already over because it was fast there would be whinging that the pitch wasn't sporting. A sporting pitch these days is just code for flat as the street for batsmen to fill their boots.

Cricket Australia will kill Test Cricket if these pitches continue in the future, bowlers will break down trying to bowl on this nonsense,no kid out there will want to become a bowler.

Agreed, he is an absolute shit fielder. I think he has cost us more runs that he's made.

Harsh on a bloke in his second test. His fielding has been fine elsewhere. As I said yesterday, its stupid they just throw the most recent player in there, when everywhere else is just the best fielder for that position.

Haddin continues to get a free pass for mistakes.

Got up here for the last 10 minutes of the first session, hopefully a good day ahead

FTR I love Hadds, but would certainly support blooding a new one.

Smith needed Hadds IMO in this series, an old hard head.

But he does need to be replaced.

Not Wade.

Complete lack of understanding

Sydney has traditionally been a spinners wicket. What did you expect? Australia only had a hard time due to poor fielding.
