Holy crap. Lashed out and bought the Scissor Sisters CD yesterday, and its so disgustingly, horribly infectiously awesome.

I've been venturing out, trying some more bizarre music lately and this certainly ranks up there. Any other fans?

I'd love to see what millersnose reckons of their cover of Comfortably Numb.

They've been big news here in the UK for a a little while now. Very infectuous, and saw TV clips of them live at Glastonbury that sounded OK too.

awful. take one song, make it sound exactly like the original right down to the singer sounding just like elton john. thats originality for you...

dont worry...6 months time they will be last years thing and will never be heard of again...

I doubt it Alex28. Their album is great, and boasts several disparate yet interlinking styles and genres. So to dismiss them as Elton John clones is erroneous. Listen to the album in full. It plays like a collection of great singles, such is the eclectic range of sounds and influences.
Top work Caprtain Dread.

I like the Comfortably numb myself. I don't really care for their other songs though.

i'll be the first to say i have not gone out of my way to learn much about them...is the album all covers? or is it everybody seems to talk about the covers and i have only heard their covers? an "album full of hits" if they have done a bunch of covers isn't that hard if thats the case...
