When did I get the shits? I'm just trying to work out what your questioning of vegans who eat meat substitutes is all about.

It didn't make sense to me, and still doesn't, because you still haven't clarified it.
Ba
You can call me out for not understanding your point of view all you like, it doesn't bother me. I'm calling myself out on it right now. I still don't understand what you meant.
Have you heard that scientists have also created meat in the lab and tested it basically said that it tasted like meat without the redness...

You claimed I said one thing.
I clearly didn’t

Then you’ve spent all this time trying re-word your bullshit.

Just man up and say you were wrong.
Simple.

Ha! Blimey.

That's not how it happened at all.

I watched the whole thing in real time.

Are you going to clarify your position?

Thats because it is meat. Not economically viable yet . But I wouldnt be going into Beef cattle business if I was a young man . Wouldn't want to be a bovine beast either. Might end up on endangered Species list or extinct.Wonder if that's what Vegans want ?

I'm evading no such thing.I'm simply stating and I've just been watching the NY Governor Cuomo talking about modelling to what he expects numbers to be at such and such a time.
He stated with a rider, because it is CHANGING from day to day, so will the modelling. It's not a 2 plus 2 equals 4 situation.

The strategy is plain and simple to reduce exposure by self isolating,to get loons to keep 1.5m apart,
to keep essential services running, to keep as much as humanly possible people working such as in the building industry and transport.
"flip a coin" another simplistic silly comment The decisions were made by State premiers,Fed Govt, medical experts from each State and the Fed Govt. ScoMo passed on the decision to the media and public..

Flatten the curve has been brought up by every medical expert here, and I've been watching ch24 ABC just about every hour of the day for updates.Your meme comment about me is utter nonsense.I guess you have a medical degree, and know more than these experts.

I'll not only use the word unknown,I'll double down and call it UNPRECEDENTED.Unless of course you have experienced such a pandemic in your life prior.

All Govts are reacting each day to what the virus is doing and the stats provided. You need to speak to individual state Labor premiers ,as to why they change their methods almost on a daily basis. Albo et al concedes this.

NZ published one model, and they have had decent numbers of people flouting the isolation law. They are 5m tucked away on a little island. They don't have large numbers of tourists, backpackers or travellers, who travel hundreds or even thousands of Kms within their own country to help spread the disease.

Yeah I've seen the results of countries in early lockdown, and their death rates are skyrocketing. And compare our rates with those of overseas.

" Bending over backwards "LOL. I'm concerned about one thing, as I'm sure so is everyone else the safety of my family,I have a daughter working in the medical field ,and worry my guts out each day.
I couldn't give a stuff who was in Govt ,as long as the public were doing the right thing ,which was spelt out time and time again.Clearly some of them are not.

I'm apparently being kept in the dark yet ,some of your comments suggest I doubt you see the light of day. Seriously mate your moniker should be quibble not wibble.Your hatred of Morrison shines through like a beacon. I've bagged him re the bushfires, However IMO he is at least leading when it comes to the pandemic, that's not just my view.

And no amount of modelling will be effective ,if people carry on like loons. If you want to bag someone try the Qld Labor govt.for allowing staging council elections at such a time.

Perhaps you can exhaust your energy, writing to either your local Labor MP or indeed Albo and prob=vide them with your complaint.

You are still evading the point and shifting the blame, and now you appear to be upset because I obviously didn't explain the purpose of my rhetorical questions well enough.

The point is that our governments clearly have research and modelling that is guiding their policy making and they are not sharing it.

Since you are confident in the actions of our medical officers, and you were upset at the notion that ScoMo flipped a coin to make his decisions, you seem to agree that they have some scientific reason for their actions.

I agree with you that it won't be perfect, but no matter how often you repeat or capitalise "unknown" and "unprecedented", you are defending the governments actions because you think they have a solid, rational, scientific reason for the things they are doing. Which is great, I agree with you.

In fact, I've heard that they have now decided to share some of their modelling, so it looks like we were both right, they do have some! (and I was additionally correct, that they are not up to now sharing it).

And you are upset by my meme comment. You go on to say you didn't get your information from a meme, you got it from "every medical expert" and from the ABC. That was the point of those questions, to show where you are not getting your information. I don't care if it was a meme, the ABC, the internet. Where you are not getting your information is the government.

So you are agreeing with me, albeit tacitly.

The rest of your post is trying to justify why they aren't sharing it. You can't actually point me to any instances where they have done those things, so instead you are shifting the burden of proof to me. It is not my job to find models that work, or explain why governments are doing what they are doing, or to be a medical expert, or to write to Labor to complain.

Finally, you see my "hatred of Morrison" shining through. I guess the many journalists and scientists calling for more transparency from the governments on this must also have a shining hatred of Morrison.

I included all governments in Australia in that accusation that they weren't sharing their information, and that includes the state Labor governments.

I need to speak to individual state Labor premiers?
If I want to bag someone bag someone bag Qld Labor for the local elections? (that was a terrible decision from the Labor government in Queensland)
Perhaps I can exhaust my energy writing to my local Labor MP or indeed Albo?

It does seem that one of us is making it about Labor vs Coalition, but it sure as heck isn't me.

This business about people eating meat substitute who don't like the taste is probably the funniest thing in this whole thread.
Theres a vegan cafe up the street and everything on the menu is basically a meat substitute.

Its like straight guy who watches gay porn.

Simple.

I was wrong. I did not understand you. I manned up and said that last time also. You called me out, then I called me out. I still don't understand you.

I still don't have the shits about it. I'll man up again. I'm still wrong. I still don't understand what you said.

You still haven't explained it in a way I understand. Maybe it is simple. Maybe I'm too simple to understand.

You've spent so much more time "calling me out", telling me I have the "shits", asking me to "man up" and saying I've spent all this time trying to "re-word" my "bullshit" that you maybe could have explained yourself at some point. Just referencing what you originally said doesn't help, as I clearly didn't get it (see, I manned up again).

Maybe you could stop acting so hurt that someone might have misunderstood what you said, and explain yourself? But you don't like actually explaining yourself do you? Because then you could actually be wrong, and I've never seen you man up and admit you were wrong (how about that crime in NZ hey? Or their terrible economy?)

I even told him he was correct in his thinking.
I then said there was no need for any more questions .

then the short stories started.

So are we back here again? Where we were at 10am this morning? :

Ok then. So that must be a very tiny category of people though.

Those who don't like the taste of meat but do want to eat something that tastes exactly like meat.

I agree, that is unusual.

Most the others though who don't like the thought of eating animals but do like the thought of eating something that tastes like animals, probably don't mind the thought of the taste of animals.
Yes, it would be very odd for a person to do this.

I'm not sure why you'd even hate this small percentage of the population.

"Yeah, rather than eating this pumpkin that I do like, I'm going to eat this mushed up artificially flavoured dross that I don't like"

I mean, the punishment seems to be in the crime itself.

I'm so confused.

well you should not have bought vegans into it dopey....
Now you and wibble are all upset because I am standing by my original comment.
Nothing has changed from my end.

write as many boring posts as you like.

You quoted me and bought up vegans
A clearly obvious attempt to get a bite.
Then he also quoted my reply to you.
I wasn’t even talking to him... especially about f**king vegans.

great job by our leader today by the way.
Really leading the country well.

So you hate vegans that in the worlds of wibble:

don't like the taste of meat but do want to eat something that tastes exactly like meat.

Ok. Got it. Not sure it needed that giant detour.

Let the record show that carcharias doesn't like people who eat stuff they don't like the taste of.

So still deflecting hey?

To me, my thinking was correct and the same in the post you agreed with, and the one you disagreed with. You don't agree, but won't say why, just refer back to our original posts. We are at an impasse.

Let's go back to your original point (though I'm sure it won't matter since you'll refuse to discuss this sensibly now):

I do question why a vegan ( who is a vegan based on animal cruelty principles) would want to eat a meat substitute that tastes like meat.

A vegan based on animal cruelty principles does not necessarily have any stance on the taste of meat.

A vegan who likes the taste of meat can still not want animals to be cruelly treated or killed.

I don't see why those things are incompatible.

FFS. Bullshit. Lies. Dopey. All upset. Boring posts. Short stories started. On and on. Wasn't even talking to him.

Oh dear. Someone is upset. It really doesn't matter, it is a minor thing. If you want to leave it alone and be satisfied knowing you understood what you meant and I was too simple too, that is fine.

There is enough stress in the world right now without me adding to yours, I apologise for dragging this out and if you think I was lying about you or misrepresenting you.
