yeah not sure either, i havent seen too much of him... i think i can recall a couple of years back he used to like to bomb the ball in the air and chase it himself union style, or i could be thinking of someone else.
either way a controlled grubber at the speed he moves would be pretty difficult, but they wouldnt beat him to it.

okay firstly I'd say I didnt get to watch the 2nd half of the game, I will when I get home from work today and what I saw from him yesterday I was like WAOW he is actually

playing some footy out there. He was doing this and that and pushing the side here and there and some beautiful kicks and if luck was a little more on his side then we

might have been up by like 20 by the half. He kind of reminded me of a Joey when Joey used to get excited, go in get the ball and work his magic. The magic wasnt the

same but the enthusiasm was there and sure not everything pulled off but if they did the highlight reel for this week would have had 4 to 5 minutes of Duearu. He is definately

the future 7 of our club.

Finch is aight, aint to Duearu though.

Rogers was terrible... Just terrible, where was he on monday night?

Patto scared me. Thought Ryenedson was back...

No offense but you talk s**t Karma.

While i havent always rated scotty as high as some in here, im starting to see the potential people have been pointing out for a while.... he is far from a complete player but being only young, he has finally given me a couple of things to be excited about, and done enough to convince me he is the man for the job.

Well that disclaimer didn't work, i'm very offended. ;-)

I never really understood people who think saying ' no offense ' somehow gives them the green light to then offend?

Sorry... I really didnt mean to offend you. HOWEVER I will not take back what I said. No malice intended and if you still feel unhappy, feel free to punch

me in the head if you ever find out who I really am. Yes I am one of those fat loser guys sitting safely behind my computer insulting people at will because

there are no consequences!!!

No sorry who am I kidding? I am as awesome in the real world as I am in the cyber world. High five to self:D

Anyways, really nothing personal. I dont know who you are, what you do, what you look like etc, just I think you definately know alot about the club

you seem to know alot about league as well. HOWEVER (BIG HOWEVER) your veiws are garbage. Furthermore, you do pull stuff out of your arse sometimes

even you must admit that!

well karma if it makes you feel any better after you have been offended. i value your opinions, and agree with 95% of the stuff you say. hell, even if you start arguments for the sake of starting an argument it sure does make this place alot more interesting.

Well good on you league_god, i'm sure your post will be overlooked by the masses in here when they like to make out my opinions are so unique they are bordering on insane, but the sentiment is appreciated.

Always enjoy reading Karmas posts, he reminds me a bit of Phil Gould. Talks a lot repeats himself over and over offends a lot of people but knows a lot about the game and is always interesting to listen to.

 No no, his signature states Michael Hagan is the devil, and I am actually a Michael Hagan - well not fan - but maybe a Hagan sympathist ( though to be fair I was overseas during a large part of some of the lean times that he is largely disliked for so I might have been going off my NUT if I was around here then )

Alright so we'll keep things in context like you say.

Firstly, Finch is a rep player in the same way Mark Hughes was a rep player - via many many injuries.
He never has and never will be first, second or hell even third pick.

The Finch has won more games than Newcastle this year is a joke of an argument. It's round 3. In round 26 if its the same story sure, but if we're doing this, Matt Orford must be useless as it's round 3 and he still has zero wins.

Also if you watched the Parramatta vs Canberra game you would have noticed the Eels won in spite of Finch who was a perpetual f**k up again. And for close to the first time in history, the Raiders fans are justified in saying the ref cost them a game, it was ridiculously poor.

And you give Scott Dureau the likes of the Roosters team from 02-04, or Jarryd Hayne, Krisnan Inu, Ben Smith, Nathan Cayless, Nathan Hindmarsh, Feleti Mateo and he makes the semi finals regularly.

If given full time status over a couple years I don't think there's going to be much difference, if any, between the two players.

And while context is so important, this would be Dureau's 20th game? That's purely a guess but it wouldn't be too far from the mark. Around the same time Finch was leading Canberra to failure after failure.

BUT you're as stubborn and determined to find the negative as I am to give Scott a chance so we're never going to agree.

Well put! I couldnt have said it better myself.
