It's a beat up by both Souths and the media. Peter Holmes a Court, we haven't heard from you in a long time. If you are going to carry on like this I hope it's a long time before we hear from you again.

it was good motivation for the rooster players I bet.........which is dumb by us
It WAS. The Roosters players spoke about it at halftime and it's what fired them up for the second half. So congratulations di<kheads. Your preschool crafted banner was just another contributor to the fail that was Friday night.

Banner was pathetic. Wasn't funny. Wasn't clever. Made Souths fans look bad. Whoever did it is a di<khead.

Lol....steady on the melodrama.

It was fine. Nobody was offended - why would they be? Kungl already posted in here saying he thought it was funny, because it was.

They hate us and we hate them. If their fans had signs referring to Centrelink or a lack of teeth, I wouldn't care...as long as they were at least a little bit clever, unlike Gus Worland's effort at 'comedy'.

Its like some Souths fans have forgotten about the last 20 years. Sure they have more premierships than the Roosters, but FOREVER in our shadow is a bit comical surely?

It was worse when they had the banner last year to harass our under 20s. Anyone who didn't see this coming from Souths doesn't know the game. Play on but if you guys dish it out then you have to be able to take it back

Neutered what are you on about 'you have to be able to take it back'? Souths fans have been copping it for years, you dont think we've ever copped it from you? There are endless threads dedicated to Souths and their supporter base..

The sign is mild. There must have been worse banners over the years. It's getting too PC.

Exactly right. It is nothing afirdinkum!! I've seen heaps worse. This is a huge over reaction. I've been heaps of banners over the years referring to South's as vermin and trash etc. The fans songs are worse then the banners. What a load of crap.

If that's the case, any chance of you lending the sign to Manly for Saturday?? :sarcasm:

If this is in relation to the banner, it's a f**king joke.

Update Regarding Investigation Into Offensive Banner and Other Incidents

Thursday 12 September 2013 4:40 PM

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have denied entry to tomorrow night’s finals clash with the Storm, and put under review the Memberships of two individuals following an in-depth investigation into a number of incidents that have occurred at Rabbitohs games and other NRL events this season, including the display of a derogatory sign at last week’s round 26 fixture against the Roosters.
The Rabbitohs are continuing investigations in regards to other Members’ behaviour, including those that occurred last Friday night at ANZ Stadium in The Burrow area.
The two Members have been informed that they are banned from attending tomorrow night’s second Qualifying Final between the Rabbitohs and Storm, that the NRL Integrity Unit has been informed about all incidents in question, and that their ongoing Membership status will be reviewed as per the Club’s Customer Service Charter and Member Company’s constitution, meaning there could be cancellation of this and subsequent year’s Memberships.
“We regard highly the safety of Members and supporters at our games and events and unfortunately the actions of these Members have led us to take this course of action against them,” Rabbitohs CEO Shane Richardson said.
“The action we have taken is supported by the NRL and ANZ Stadium, and hopefully this makes for a more enjoyable and safe game day experience for the majority as we enter a very exciting period of football for our Members and supporters.
“This is not the end of our investigation, and if other Members are found to have displayed inappropriate behaviour that can damage the reputation of the Club or put the safety of other Members and patrons at risk, then they will also face cancellation of their Membership and or total bans from attending NRL events in the future.
“As we said in our statement on Monday, we want to thank all of our Members and supporters who have got behind the team this season in a positive fashion, and we look forward to seeing a big contingent of Rabbitohs support in the stands at ANZ Stadium tomorrow night.”

I didn't see any banners insulting your team at the game? Newcastle had one on cardboard. Nobody at easts cares about Souths enough. We play for premierships.
