Tuliagi looked like a first grader and will compete for a starting spot (unless we have let him sign elsewhere)

I am pretty sure he has already signed next year for Manly. I reckon him and Luc are a good edge backrow pairing.

As long as it's effective, doesn't really matter what the model is, IMO.

Just hoping we get a better consistent performance from the team as a whole, this year.

No doubt the Players Liberation Army have been upset by the existing "exclusionary policies" of a single on-field decision maker.

This is far more democratic and inclusionary.

As a community, players will feel that they have real voice at the highest levels of match decision making.

Pascoe at his hippy worst?

Madge has finally lost it and a player is yet to miss a tackle in anger this year.

Let’s see which of them have the balls and focus to challenge the ref.
None of them.

When Hastings smashes someone and is called out, all five of them will be pointing at each other to cop the ref's captain spray until its sorted out.

Hopefully this circus is all designed by Madge to slow down the attack.

Cleary did the same thing. Say what you want about Cleary but he seems to know what he is doing when it comes to coaching.

This is all really just a placeholder until Doeuihi is back at 100% fitness and in a position to rally the troops under his command. It's easier to say "okay, we've picked Doeuihi out of the 5 of you", than saying "Jim/Brooks/Peachy - you're fired, Doeuihi is now captain".

It's a good decision....get over yourselves

This is such a storm in a tea cup. If we struggle this year it won't matter if there is 1 or 17 captains. Plus it doesn't even say captains just leadership group. It's like saying you have 5 managers and people assuming it's 5 store managers.

We had 1 captain last year and it didn't work. Maybe it's a sign of him wanting more communication out there from people in different positions.

Funny how the two recent captains both ended up so ineffective and talking in cliches ...I couldn’t believe how pathetic Tamau was during interviews and still is ..and yet they both kept the captaincy. Can you see a Gallan taking over amidst Madges weird rants? Is taking risks and taking charge discouraged? Benjis the only one Ive seen do it. He may have been Madges last true ally before it all turned to shit

Right here and now, our toughest, most promising and resilient player is Hastings.

He’s got leadership written all over him.

We need his psychopathic mongrel calling the shots. Teach the loafers a few things about having a go and shirt front them if they don’t perform and give him some powers for team selections. You’ll soon see a turnaround.

That’s who we need.

The five selected have all of the persuasive power of a Panther player at a bible study.

Doueihi is not even guaranteed a spot in the side
