We offloaded early and spread the ball through whole game. Not just the last 20.
We didn't just complete sets and kick long. But yes I agree in a way. The thing last night but was attitude. We put in for 80. The whole 80 amd I've not seen that from us in a long time. Usually it is a good 50 or 60 amd we get the win.

It also helps when the game plan is to actually use all players for a decent amount of minutes.

My only concern is the gap we usually struggle after byes, and this one is a big gap…

17 days better Cowboys game and Bulldogs game.

boys definitely need a rest given we’re the last team in the comp get a bye (it’s ridiculous that some teams get 2 before we even get 1), but I hope half the group aren’t heading to Fiji or Bali…

Hands’ passes from dummyhalf are every bit as good as Mahoney’s.
I actually think that too. He doesn't interrupt and gets the passes quickly to the ppl who need it.

I do understand the hookers who are able to engage the makers as it holds the defense in the middle but our players don't understand how to make use of it

With time on the field, he’ll only improve and get his fitness up.
Are you sure he won't get worn out like Paulo and RCG?

An extra 20 minutes of footy once a week won't make anybody fit. If they haven't built their fitness base by the end of pre-season they need to do extra conditioning through the week.
anybody can be a liability without the ball.
Agreed, but big sluggish merkins like Greig are far more likely to struggle making repeat efforts without the ball.
