I still can’t cop that we are worse than the shit teams hovering around the 8.

We haven’t been great but I think we will climb the ladder and ultimately make the 8.
I hope so.

Our remaining home games at Commbank are all winnable. We should be winning 5 of them realistically if not all 6.

Cowboys - No Origin Players (Nanai, Cotter, Holmes, Taulagi)
Manly - No Origin Players (DCE, Jurbo & Possibly Turbo)
Warriors
Titans
Dragons
Roosters

That means we just have to find a way to win 3-4 games on the road from our remaining 7 games
Souths
Bulldogs
Dolphins
Cowboys
Storm
Brisbane
Penrith

Considering we have the bye rd 27, if we miss the 8 (and dont have to rely on rd 27 results)

We become first team in history to have a Mad Monday a week before the official Mad Monday, for teams missing out on the 8

Or do we enjoy two Mad Mondays 👀

Actually Warriors in 2005 had a bye in round 26 and finished 11th.

I just listened to the tct podcast and he said we have only lost by less than 10 for all our losses.

However, that's misleading as we are playing catchup in alot of those games
And we play more conservatively in the first half but it did shet me when horsborough was off and we didnt spread it. Just one out into a conpressed defense

Our game is also a Thursday in round 26.

Imagine relying on results there will be 15 games to sit through before finals.

Like the Roosters last weekend?

Plenty of teams frontload their defensive efforts and can’t sustain it. That’s why we need to stay patient and come home with a wet sail. We have the team to do that. We just need to complete our sets rather than shit ourselves and look for the easy option when the defence makes it tough. Let them wear themselves out. Even Penrith have shown their defence slows down if they’re unable to dominate possession.

I dunno. Are we good enough to be up for two Mad Mondays in a row?
