Season Over?

Dismal performance on Friday night. Disappointing season and I think that we will be worse next year. No evidence that there's any plan to address the weaknesses that have been exposed. Unless Price has got a credible plan for the halves and to improve concentration and commitment we're entering one of those three or four year troughs that we had at the backend of the eighties and under Farrar. At least Brownie had some talent. Price has got a pretty weak squad that will be weaker next year.

F***! You could see it was all going to unravel when they didn't take that early 2. Under Bennett we'd have ground that one out.

It's all hypothetical now but you would imagine Soward would have cut the Roosters to threads, their defence in the middle of the park was there to exploit.
If Price tells us execution let us down again i will be calling for his execution.

Maybe in '09/10 he would have but I haven't seen anything from him this season to suggest he would have if he had of played. Not saying that he shouldn't have been there though.
I'm 100% convinced that Price has no plan for the side for the remainder of the season. Looking back, every decision he has made since Style's failure at fullback has been reactive. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I can't recall a proactive decision being made since then.

Parra playing their part, season may not be over. But let's be honest, if we make the 8 it will only extend he season by a week.

Cant agree anymore guys, although it isn't 100% over because of how things shaped up at the end of this round, now this must happen:
Souths Vs Manly -- Souths to win at least then manly can slowly drop lower if we win 3/4 games and they loose all..
Melbourne vs titans -- Melbourne to beat titans so we can overtake them
parra vs roosters -- doesnt matter but go parra so roosters can go wooden spoon :)
tigers vs DRAGONS -- Dragons of course then we can go equal with tigers but still on 9th
cowboys vs warriors -- doesnt matter as long as dragons win
penrith vs canberra -- penrith so we can move to best position being 9th
bulldogs vs broncos -- doesnt matter, although if bulldogs win then broncos could move down lower..
newcastle vs cronulla -- CRONULLA ! first time in my life ill be going for cronulla so that we can overtake newcastle and they can move down even lower..

gotta hope these winnings go right ! same teams must loose next week too including the tigers and there is no doubt we must win our remaining 4, we'll beat tigers hopfully soward will amaze us, Cowboys at home for sure, warriors at home for sure then parra away .. I got a feeling its all going to come down to that parra game it is a monday night game, last game of the season and it could be like the souths vs dragons game in 2010 where if souths won they were to vs us in week 1 finals but they lost and finished 9th.. could be de ja vu but on the other side ..

Eels let us down - again! Tigers too good. 51 - 26. Blimey!
With an ever slight chance to make the finals still within reach,i feel like the hottest girl is sitting in front of me begging me to have sex with her and as i go to touch her i wake up and realise it was only a dream.
After last friday i am afraid to say with a broken heart that we are all dreaming.

I've tried to stay positive all season..

But it is over, if you don't lose this week you will lose against the cowboys in 2 weeks. We do not deserve to be there, we have had no consistency at all this season (apart from being disappointed).

Season finished, I'm f**king pissed off because we are capable of sooo much more with the squad we have, 2 losses in golden point, 1 loss in the last 2 mins against canberra and I feel we did that playing at 75%.

We never really won a game that projected fear into our rivals! We are nothing compared to two years ago.

Having said that, I will be there on sat night to support the boys, hopefully we can put a dent in the tigers finals hopes.

f**k I hate losing!

Not only is the season over but it is just embarrassing in how they have performed all year. Worst attack in the comp. Parra got smashed by 50 and still were able to score 26 points.

If they make the 8 it will be embarrassing and will only last a week. Price is rubbish and the players really listen to him as he keeps saing the same things in each press confrence. Execution, offence, etc let us down. No $hit Sherlock. but it's not improving since Round 2 so how good are you going you joker.

Agree 100%.

Of course I love my club and the players, but taking my red and white glasses off, we simply don't deserve to be there. We haven't strung three wins together, and this year it was back to the pre-Bennett days of not knowing which team was going to turn up.

But that's OK, it's only footy. They can go back and correct themselves in the pre-season and get ready for 2013. I've said it 1000 times on here though, Kyle's injury is really going to kill us next year.

2013 had to be
6. Kyle
7. Jamie

To beat the Tigers this week, we'll need to score at least 24 points or turn the game into a grind and tackle them out of it.
Either way it doesn't look like being the game where we can turn our points differential around.
The way the table is looking we absolutely must beat the Tigers, or 8th spot, which will most likely be a 30 point requirement, would then be mathematically impossible.

The Tigers have the Dogs, Roosters and Storm after us
They won't make the eight
Our destiny is still in our own hands

Season has been over for quite a while. There were a whole string of games we should have won that we lost.

The elephant in the room is our inability to score more than three times a match.

Our back 5 isn't settled, our halves aren't performing and our forwards aren't dominating. There's a lot of young and inexperienced guys in our squad who will be better for next year and 2014.
Just look on 2012 as a trial run for the next two years.
Once we get Beale we'll have Nighty and Morris back on the wing. Stanley and Vidot in the centres. That's a potentially potent backline.
And that is what we need.

All that we need to worry about now is who will be our halves next year.
