To read the carve up of all the other teams go to:

Parramatta Eels: Kept up with their usual policy of being five years behind the times by bulking their side up with a bunch of in-breds signed from the Premier League stables of sides that finished below them on the table the previous year. The results were predictable in a long and depressing season.
Season highlight: The sterling efforts of Aaron Cannings. After going on a drunken rampage in the off season he then racked up two wonderful minutes in First Grade for the rest of the season. Eels fans contented themselves by marvelling at the talents of players they’ve let go in recent seasons and compiling sides that would win the premierships from ex-Parra players in the NRL.
Season lowlight: Holding onto Brian Smith and Dennis Fitzgerald for yet another year. They are sure entries in the Guinness Book of Records for setting new heights of bumbling incompetence and stunning ineptitude.

;-) Somehow Manly doesn't get a mention in the carve up. I'd imagine it's too depressing to disect.

Anyway, not trying to start another war. Just thought I'd share the love. You'll enjoy what has been done to some of the other ratbag teams. I guess there was no shortage of material.

I'm surprised they did not snap up Lee Hopkins.

Even WE'RE not that desperate. I thought Heckenberg was better value for us this year than Cannings was for you :p :p :p :p

therefore, the dissapointing thing about that is that most of it is true

despite anything we think of Manly or anyone else...??? :(

Indded. That's why I have to lurk around here to find someone that will talk League with. And you guys are a damned site more bearable than the representatives from most of the other clubs

See y'all in Parkes next year.

Whether Heckenberg or Leuluai are good value next year is the big thing.... ;-)
Care for a wager that between them they'll play more first grade than Cannings? ;-)
