Brad Wallace came off the bench for Newcastle Flegg in 2004. No mention of Daniel Russell, heard he had signed with you guys for 2005

by looking at the side brian smith picked to vs the warriors it looks like everything is going according to plans with smithy. he did mention the trials were to test out key positions and if you look at the side he named he is basically giving everyone a shot and a chance to impress in the position they love best. he will compare how these guys play in these positions compared to the guys who played in those positions in the sharks trial and then for the roosters trial im guessing he will pick a near full strength team. I like what he is doing and i think its fair giving everyone a crack at impressing. especially ben smith in the centres and i rate luke odywer as a centre aswell. he defended well there last year and is not a bad runner of the ball. finally get to see john williams aswell and marcus perenara.

Looks like Cordoba is definately in favour, it will be good to see if he gets a run against the Roosters.

Think that there are several people in that NZ team that are capable of killing them........
Caylo will have to ward them off :D

I think some of these boys may struggle. Some are very young. Blake Green played SGBALL in the 2004 season and then came up to Flegg, where the couple of games he struggled a bit. Brad Wallace came off the bench in Flegg for a part of the season. Lets hope that they can do ok.l

Blake Green did NOT STRUGGLE. They made the semis and were defeated by the eventual Prmiers. Blake Green is a huge talent for us, Better than I have ver seen before.

Thanks for the info on Brad Wallace everyone. Another playmaker type, eh...

Isn't Feleti Mateo still recovering from an injury?

There's some decent names in that Warriors line up - another club that on paper should be performing much better than they did last year.

it is a bit of a blow when you consider that the kid who's got tremondous natural talent isn't a big fan of training.

PJ and others will all get another run against the Roosters - that is the trial BS will be making his major judgements on or taking the most seriously - he said as much somehwere the other day

this one is just to see which or how many of the young guys can perform

good sign that Ash Graham is ready to play again, as well
