We Don't have any attackers. This will be a Great Start to Fixing that problem. This guy is dynamite from Hooker, he is super Quick amongst the big men, and extremely strong.
Would be the best buy we have had in a long time, as long as he is not associated with crims.

We're the wrong club for him then ;-)

Sign him. Get it done.

Hope it all happens before June 30

Unless there are plans to sign someone else before June 30, there is absolutely nothing to be gained for Penrith by releasing Segeyaro early.

Taylor was released so we could get Grevsmuhl. I'm not aware of anyone else we are trying to get in the next 4 weeks. Hence Segs will be a Panther until the end of this season. I think he'll be useful to us coming off the bench.

Seggy could be a very good signing if he can sort out some weaknesses in his game, he gives 100 percent on the field every time but I am glad we aren't re-signing him, despite his level of talent we are a better team without him on the field, his service from dummy half and his decision making is complete garbage and it just kills our momentum far to often.

We already have Rein for this so why do we need him

He's on the outer at Penrith with Gould and Griffin. As Doust and Gould have a friendly and trusting relationship, I don't expect we will see Seggy at the Dragons based on recomendation.

When he gets it right he can tear teams apart with his running game like no other hooker besides maybe Granville but it has become clear the team is better off overall with someone like Wallace offers great service(and not much else) and doesn't hamper the forwards and halves. I wouldn't be surprised if he kicks on at another club and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't. I just can't understand why he thinks holding the ball up for a second or two on the last tackle before giving it to the halves is a good idea. Honestly if we are within 20m of the opponents try line on last tackle with Seggy at hooker then there is no way the halves are getting a quick clean pass from him, he will pick it up, look to run and then realise its not on and put the halves under pressure to get any kick off, silly things like this and just generally not being able to pass the ball like a top shelf hooker have been his downfall the last two years, I never noticed it before then even at the start of this year I was backing him to come good but he is still doing the same shit.

Rein is a superior hooker in my opinion, but not by much. Both have similar flaws in their games. It should come down to cash. If Rein wants too much to sign then Segeyaro would be a top shelf replacement

Anyone is an upgrade from Rein. I wouldn't pay $1 for rein even $1 is over priced for him. Punt him now we will do better without him. Don't even waste time negotiating with him.

Easy to say hiding behind a computer screen with an alias name where no one can find you.

Reins strengths are his durability & his defence.

Apart from that I just like what I see from Segeyaro alot more. The biggest problem with Segeyaro is obviously the injuries as of late. But if you risk nothing you gain nothing imo.

We can't have both Dugan & Rein in the spine if we want to score points; they are way too defensive for that. We can afford to have one but not both. Obviously Dugan is the favourite here.

If we can still snag both Keary & Segeyaro that will help out our pointscoring tremendously. That still leaves us needing a proper goalkicker however.

This. The Seg of 2014 and the barely FG standard we see now are so far apart it's not funny. That and his off field stuff is why it's a good choice we got rid of him

This very much supports the rumours floating around, especially off field and poor attitude. I believe clubs will avoid like the Plague and he possibly needs to go ESL.

Yep, agree. Jake Granville has developed into the hooker many thought Segeyaro would.

Definitely on the outer at the Panthers and told in no terms not wanted next year. I'm not sure of the Rein situation to resign or not...but we need to cover such a key position ...

Was told Rein knocked back the Dragons offer and is after a lot more coin . If that is the case not sure why we just payed 400k a season for another Cutters quality forward in Sims when we so badly need to find a 7 and a 9 for next season . I would have thought that might be a priority .
