a number of Martyn's dismissals have been "unlucky" whereas a number of Clarke's have been "irresponsible"

And Martyn's haven't. When he hasn't been getting out to dodgy calls he flirts at balls that should be left and gets out, runs out captains and runs himself out. Now that is "irresponsible".

And katich offers so much more than what Watson can? Watson is a million times better option than katich in the test team in that he doesn't poke and prod the ball to scratch 20 and the pies he bowls are better than no pies at all. We can't rely on Ponting to be a changeup bowler.

Knowing the aus selectors you will get your wish and Katich will be dropped for Watson.

Katich imo doesn't deserve a test spot, but he sure as hell deserves one ahead of Watson.

Without Katich in the last test we would have lost in 3 days! Watson has to be cpable of reguarly picking up wickets before he can be in the test side! If any of the batsmen should go it should be Hayden and Martyn!

The way our batters are going Watson may find himself in a batting role first, bowling second. His bowling hasn't gone anywhere from where I stand so he may as well become a batter that bowls a bit.
