Semi Final week 2 Vs Brisbane

Never doubted his attack. Its not just about that though. We've needed him in games and he's gone missing. He's thrown garbage passes.little to no urgency at fullback.

We can all harp on about his attack but what about everything else?

The main thing we lack is attack. He provides that.

Either we get a coach who can coach attack or we go with our best attacking option.

None of us know the issues behind the scenes, but if Moylan isn't here next year & Griffin is, well we're in big trouble.

I don't care for last year. Its the same "form" that labelled us premiership favourites. We forgetting how many shit games moylan had? the passes that were intercepted? overplayed attacks? Come on mate.

You just said

"May has played more good games than Moylan in 2 seasons"

Now you say

"I don't care for last year"

Umm...

Without Cartwright we don't score a try this finals series, that's just simple reality despite how hard you're intent on denying reality.

Is this like your opinion of RCG also?

I want Carty to do well but his performance tonight was pea hearted and showed no brains at all. I mean the dude is a turnstile in defense its embarrassing

He deserves no credit for the RCG try, that was pure effort and will

I am disappointed we lost but I don't think we played that badly. We defended well and only conceded two tries to the Broncos at home in a semi-final. Last week the Broncos scored 20 points against the Roosters.

There were a few pivotal moments for mine - when Oates knocked himself it should have been play on, and we would have scored a try under the posts.

The decision not to take two points before half time with only 30 seconds left was stupid.

When Thaiday went down injured it should have been play on - but the ref stopped the play again and it killed our momentum.

Clearly needed to mix things up a bit - Broncos were prepared for the CHN play (obviously we were trying to put CHN up against Milford).

Losing May was also big. If May is defending they probably don't score the Roberts try. I also think it May was only in the last 20 minutes he would have found a gap between the tired Broncos forwards.

All in all we only lost by 7 points and we played our absolute guts out for 80 minutes.

The sad thing now is that we have to wait 5 months to next season.

We played with heart, a heap of it.

But we showed the main problem we've had all season, zero attack.

We rely on teams tiring. That's it.

The idea that Moylan smothers out Cleary and that its a problem was always stupid but can't possibly persist after this finals series. No Moylan and a million touches and loads of ball in the opposition 20 and all Cleary was able to produce was one try assist, off a kick. If it is the case Moylan smothers out Cleary, that is a good thing.

The season is a pass mark but no more, kind of like when you just managed to pass a test at school but didn't excel in it at all, if you know what I mean... because we looked like wooden spooners at half time against the Warriors and we managed to finish semi finalists.

I fear it may be a case that Griffin just isn't good enough to get this team to be a genuine contender, despite the potential of the roster. The defence actually is improved but the attack was poor against any kind of decent defence and Griffin has to shoulder a significant part of the blame for that.

RCG got put through a hole and for the second time in his whole career actually f**king finished it. Good on him. You want Cartwright to do more than provide all our points? Good for you. The rest of us want to deal in reality.

I'm very confident that we win tonight if Moylan had played

I received a message from one of my many contacts, not sure who the f**k it was but they said:

"You just lack the superstar touch"

Seems everyone thinks thats Moylan.

He will be elsewhere next year. Where to next?

Or... we allow Cleary time to develop. I see similarities between Thurston and Cleary at the same age.

I'm not saying he's a bad player, I just think he may be more suited to a second receiver situation.

But that's unlikely to play out, so we need someone creative next to him.

15 runs for 141m, 1 try, 2 offloads, 2 line breaks, 3 tackle breaks, 49 of 53 tackles, 1 error

Give it a rest man. You have been proven wrong many times over.

He looked like he was struggling

DWZ also wasn't running back as hard as he normally does

I agree Edwards was struggling. But we had little choice. Even a struggling Edwards was significantly superior to having Whare at fullback.

DWZ also appeared to be carrying an injury. He barely put on a chase against Oates when Oates scored the first try, and he didn't run it back anywhere near as hard as he normally does. It might have been some kind of thigh strain or cork.

So people are still blaming Moylan leaving/not playing on the club, not Moylan?..... Okkkkk
Well he is part of the club isn't he? Blaming one is to blame the other, or it should be that way. Regardless of how it came to be, the situation is a mess that cost us dearly.
