I know stats aren’t everything, but sometime they do have some relevance.

Manu is getting talked up here, yet it’s been suggested Jennings maybe should be moved on, yet this for this year:

Manu - 12 runs for 105m, 3.1 TB, 0.3 LB, tackle success rate is 85%, 7 tries / 5 TA (played 22 games)
Jennings - 10 runs 95 m, 3.1 TB 0.4 LB, tackle success rate 87%, 9 tries / 3 TA (17 games)

There is stuff all between them (and Jennings has played 5 less games, so probably would have a few more tries / ta), additionally Manu has the benefit of playing with the Roosters and surrounded by better players / spine.

Yet one is star (Manu) and the other is “past it”.

Actually this supports what Pou is saying, players in the top sides get more “notice”.

yeah, well I like them both. Maybe the Roosters aren't as good as everyone thinks. We will find out this weekend.

Manu is a solid player. So is Jennings. But Manu is young and will probably be a better player next year, while Jennings while probably decline.

For a side short on experience (like us) Jennings is probably more valuable. For a club like the Chooks, full of 200 game players, they're better off with Manu.

So we are probably better off with Tim Mannah than Payne Hass?

I would kick the tyres on Semi Radradra at fullback.
His game developed rapidly in every other facet so why not ball playing.
He would be lethal up the middle.

Without going into too much detail about how I could know this, I can say that I am 1 degree separated from some someone who absolutely knows all about the Semi situation. I can say that this chap is Fijian, a Christian who I've never known to lie and is in the kava drinking loop.
This person has told me that the media reports from a few weeks ago are highly accurate insofar as follows.
1. Semi has had enough of France and wants to come back to the NRL.
2. He is contracted for 1 more year over there and plans to honour that if not released.
3. He has talked with the Eels about it and has been told that as far as things stand right now, we are happy with our outside backs roster and aren't planning on changing it to accommodate him as our recruitment money is prioritised for other positions in the squad. (read forwards).
4.The Doggies are in fact at this point in time, the front runners for his signature but that could easily change over the silly season and next year.
5. As it stands, he is putting the feelers out and probably wont make a decision in the immediate future and does hope to come back to Parra but realises that that may well not happen.
If this changes and I hear about it, I will let you all know.

Can we get Roosters Left Centre Mitchell's stats to compare to our Left Centre Jennings stats.

Thanks in advance.

You can get them. While you're there you can compare Roosters left centre Mitchell's stats with Roosters right centre Manu's stats. Not only have they played the same number of games but they have touched the ball almost exactly the same number of times. They're easy to compare:

Mitchell - 9 runs, 89m, 3.1 TB / 0.6 LB. 89% tackle success rate. 18 tries / 10 TA. 22 games.

The big difference between Mitchell and Manu / Jennings is the tries / TA

How about our combinations of players who have played Right Centre. How do those stats compare to Manu?

Again...Thanks in advance.

Are you implying that left sided centres record double the number of tries, try assists and LBAs as right side centres? I'd expect Waqa Blake to have something to say about that.

No, we now have the stats for both Roosters Centres, it only seems natural that we would compare those stats with both our Centres combined.
