Semi Radradra threatening to leave NRL

Is that possible? I thought the most you could be is hold a players registration like Wire are doing with Sandow which prevents a player from playing the same sport. Obviously crossing codes that's not possible.

I doubt an Australian court is going to be able to enforce anything against Semi playing for Toulon. No judgement here would be binding there.

I'm not legally qualified enough to answer both you points definitively, but what little I do know about employment law is, you can get an injunction to prevent someone "working" for another company whilst they are still under contract to you. Whether French courts would recognise an order of an Australian court? I don't know enough about the legal relationships between the two countries to be able to answer you on that point.

Domestics are very hard to prove.

It's pretty much always the female not getting money when breaking up. Seen it with Jonny Depp and Brad Pitt recently too.

Semi will be ok. Has one of the best barristers in Australia.

Lmao who cares,he's a winger, anyone can play winger,we will stick Josh Hoffman out there on the wing next year with his broken body and he will still fall over the try line and get the job done for us

Even Robbie Waterhouse could play on the wing

If you guys lived in the US, you'll most likely have voted Clinton. All political correctness bullocks.

Semi is a professional athlete. He can play where he wants. All the boo hoo about not having integrity is laughable.

The guy is a superstar.

And the court case ..... will end up nowhere like Tostee.

All mindless boo hoo.

Comes down to being treated like garbage by the NRL.

Has happened before ....

The Man Mundine
Sonny Bill

All are now more famous, excelled and worth at least 20 times more than if they stayed and be treated like 2nd class citizens.

Semi will be the same.

Not the same badly done by background Man Mundine ,who claimed he was a better 5/8 than Daley? The same Daley with Indigenous parentage.
Sonny Bill " treated like garbage," hello must be missing something.Left without telling the bulk of his teammates, a week earlier appeared in a country area to talk about loyalty to young kids.
Yep it's all the NRL's fault.

I blame the accelerator in my car, for my speeding.

Not as big a loss to the game as it would have been 12 months ago. Rapana eclipsed him as the best winger in the world.

How did the NRL treat him like garbage?

Look how Kenny-Dowall was treated facing the same situation.

A complete opposite to the aggressive, hang him style treatment that Semi is now subjected to, all because he is dark. No other reason.

How many here have walked out on a job because they were bullied? or poorly paid?

The NRL used Semi. Used him for the PNG game because they thought the PNGs could relate to him, then dumped him like garbage.

We've seen it before, nothing changes .....

How disgraceful was Bulldog's legend Hazim El Masri treated when again faced with a domestic accusation?

Hazim's good character was thrown under a bus by the NRL. They sacked him from his much loved promo job with them visiting countless of schools promoting the sport. All because he was a lebanese... When he was found innocent, the NRL offered him the same job but on 20% of what he was previously on!

nothing changes .. unless we make it change ..

He should never have even been playing for Australia but he wanted the cash.
So the NRL has never mis treated a white guy right?

Brett Stewart and Mitchell Pearce say hello.
