Any of you guys know anything about this?

Rugby 13 Federation of Serbia has the honor to announce the official information that Mr. Brian Smith (Brian Smith), a respected Australian rugby league coach, was on an official visit to Serbia and Belgrade. Mr. Smith attended today's training session Serbian national team. Serbian national team prepares for the tour of Australia which will be held from 28th January to 8th February, 2016. The tour was planned in preparation for the qualifications for the World Cup in rugby league to be played in 2017 just in Australia.

Mr. Brian Smith and Rugby 13 Federation of Serbia have concluded an agreement, under which Smith will assume the role of Advisor Coaching Staff of the Serbian national team in the process of preparing and qualifying (October, 2016 against Wales and Italy) for the World Cup in 2017.

Otherwise, the 61-year-old Brian Smith is a former rugby player, who played for Australian clubs St George and Sydney Saut Rabits. Coaching career began in 1978 in Newton Jets. Since 1991 was on the bench to stronger NRL clubs St George from 1991 to 1995 ( St. Georg ) Parramatta Ilsa 1997 to 2006 ( Parramatta ), Newcastle Naits 2007 to 2009 ( Newcastle Knights ) and Sydney Rustersa 2010 to 2012 ( Sydney Roosters ). Also repeatedly led the Super League clubs in England Hal 1988 to 1990 ( Hull FC ) Bretford Bulls in 1996 ( Bradford Bulls ). He is currently the clubs wild cats from Vakenfilda ( Wakefield Wildcats ).

They are playing a match against the Phillipines, not sure what else is planned for the tour.

Good to see them get Smith on board to help them. I would love to see Serbia qualify.

Would be good if they could play a game at Bonnyrigg White Eagles soccer ground.Would connect them with the Serbian expat community and might unlock a couple of sponsors.

Will Serbia vs Philippines be an RLIF-sanctioned match then? Because Philippines got shafted a few weeks ago from the World rankings.
