Well, when he was "dropped" and Mateo made his 2007 debut against Souths, he was injured the previous week. Maybe he's now recovered, but maybe he's just using PL to get back into match fitness before Hagan puts him back in...I don't know. I wouldn't say Lowrie has been "dropped" just yet...

Finch is, in a word (or two in this case) utterly useless. He never seems to know what to do, and basically has two plays; and inside ball that he telegraphs about an hour before the ball and a grubber to the in goal that goes dead every time. Mateo is a better five-eighth than Finch, Green is a better five-eighth, hell after that drop goal Ian is probably above him on the rankings of ability in the halves. I was willing to gove him a chance, but 5 rounds in and I can't think of a try he's set up yet...that's a damning thing in itself. He must go.

i hope you guys are right about Hagan. Finch needs to be moved out of that team. we can't rest on our laurels and we must continue to try and improve each week.

Well, on form you could only really drop Wagon at the moment for Lowrie if anybody. I can't see it happening.

Apart from rnd 1, I think he's been playing PL every week, including the week against Souths.

this didn't worry me at the time but....

with the form that he is displaying at a new club and after a pretty bad season for himself last year i think he needs to completely distance himself from that life that he led at the Roosters. get away from the parties, off the social pages and commit himself to the game. he does have talent, he can play the game and he should be doing so much better than he has been.

i know he is only young but he needs to make that choice for his career, not just for the team.

I reckon that he is the worst half that we have ever had at Parra. What annoys me is that because Hagan wants to persevere with him a player like Blake Green plays out of position and a precious player like PJ Marsh does not play the full game.

He is a deadset f*cking nightmare. All he does all game is clap his hands and try and pump up the boys. His options are terrible and he seems to stifle our attack in every way.

I rate his performance the worst from a 5/8th in recent memory. Dykes, McFadden, Morris and Witt are immortals for this joke of a player. We must bite the bullet and release him asap. Without a doubt he has overtaken Anasta as the most overrated player in the NRL.

He has nothing. I seriously do not know how he sleeps at night, he is rubbish.

... and that's just the attack. Lucky he has Benny to do most of his tackling for him.

We look great when Blake Green is on the field - he complements Tim's game very well. Add that with PJ as an 80-minute hooker and Riddell off the bench as an impact prop/second-rower, and you have a mighty good team. Finch is...Well...Hopeless.

we would of been better served had Blake played outside Timmy instead of putting him at Hooker.

Definitely don't want Finch in the team at all. Being the interchange would be even worse as he'd have be handling the ball even more. If he has to play, use him as a decoy runner only (although he'd probably still find a way of screwing that up).

Witty has set up 3tries and scored one, knows how to tackle and actually understands what a 5/8 is meant to do. Unlike your fuzzy hair, big nose Bondi boy.
