ok finch has had some shockers but as soon as he makes one right pass or one good move everyone one will be singing his praises
I think we should persivere with him because he will come good,
i don't know when but comon lets give him some time we are still winning games with him in the side ,and the game time is needed, surely the experinced players will be talking to him and lifting him at training ,he will come good (i hope anyway)
 :sarcasm:

Actually, as was already mentioned before, he did have the vision to start a promising raid down our left, and it was only Nathan Hindmarsh's forward offload that stifled it...

I was prepared to give him a few games but I've already had enough. He hasn't evolved with the team & needs to be dropped immediatly for Blake Green! C'mon Hages, do the right thing.

This is my own opinion,
When I found out that Finch was bought by us... My first thought was "What the hell"

Now after 5 round my thoughts are "You have to be kidding"... Did we just waste $$ on this guy?

After watching Friday nights game I was truly irrate at watching Finch play. I didn't see anything that wanted me to keep this guy playing.

Watching Green and T.Smith playing I can see that they would make a great combo.

To me.. and this is my opinion only... Finch wants the no.7 and will do anything get it, including making it hard for T.Smith to play his game that he has the potential to play.

Let cut our losses now and flick him.

Cheers

i listened to a bit of 2gb yesterday and ray hadley actually made an interesting point.

i don't know if this has been written earlier and couldn't be bothered checking.

hadley reckons that when finch kicked that ball out on the full in the early stages of the game not one player came over to give him a pat on the back or console him like normally happens when a player stuffs up. maybe finch is not fitting in as well as he could?

Didnt notice it myself but interesting ..

Maybe that were thinking "what is this genius doing kicking out on the full on the 4th tackle (or was it 3rd - even worse)"

I wouldnt have patted him on the back either, maybe a king hit to the back of the head and brough Green straight on

How far do you want to look into it? Every time they are on camera something could be made out of the way the act.

It looks as if he and Hindy are pretty close. Ben Smith was also on camera yelling out giving a bit of encouragement.

Ray Hadley would like nothing more than to look deep into the our side a club and find any chink in the armour...nothing gives him a woody more than seeing our club suffer.

I can't agree that he is a halfback.

The number one saving grace about Finch's game at the moment is that somebody else is doing the playmaking.

If he was running the show we'd be 0/5.

I can't believe anyone still listens to that crap. Hadley is a deadset idiot and I would take anything he says with a pinch of salt.

They know each others game better because they have played together in Premier League a few times.

don't think they played that much together...in 2004 Timmy made the move from flegg to pl early in the year and Blake was fresh out of SG Ball...Blake never made his move to pl until 2005 which was the year Tim broke through to the top grade and made the position his own.

Just watched the replay on Fox. Finch had a couple of stuff ups with his handling, but I didn't think he played that poorly after watching the replay.
The replay confirmed Cayless had another strong game and Cordoba and Mateo have been good coming from the bench...and Luke Burt is in super form, both with his goal kicking and attack.
Who'd a thunk it!!!!

No mention of Tim Smith, Pete? ;-)

Finch must think he's still a rooster coz he's playing like a headless chook.

To paraphrase my mate Pete, the Chook needs to learn from the Koala and occasionally run the ball and take the line on.

yep, he needs to start playing like a five eight as he did last year with the chooks in the later part of the year when Josh Lewis handled procedeings.

until he does that, we're getting bugger all value from him.
