Round 5 SG Ball Highlights:

0m0s - Steelers v Panthers:
o Fullback (Borg) letting a bomb bounce and paid the price bigtime.. was probably the difference in the end, Jett Cleary kicked 4/4 conversions also.
o Meafou's try was amazing..

10m38s - Dragons v Storm:
o Tonga with a nice strong run to open the scoring
o TPH with a big fend for his try, and some more astute passing for a try-assist to WIlliams..

SG Ball Squad (Dragons):
1. Tyler Peckham-Harris 2. Zachariah Nachar 3. David Afu 4. Ratu Cayuqueo 5. Jesse Williams 6. Harley Yates 7. Brandon Tikinau 8. Corey Ackers 9. Hudson Harmer 10. Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga 11. Jacob Halangahu 12. Cyrus Stanley-Traill 13. Finau Latu 14. Angus Clark 15. Ryan Hutchinson 16. Viliami Hikila 17. Benjamin Geary 18. Risiate Smythe 19. Isaiah Fagalilo
So Hammoud is still out with his concussion.. and they are up against the only undefeated side.. the 5from5 Roosters.. holy hell..

SG Ball Squad (Steelers):
1. Lucas Borg 2. Tom Kirk 3. Hayden Buchanan 4. Bailey Marks 5. Toby Rumble 6. Clay Baldock 7. Aaymon Fitzgibbon 8. Isaac Laughton 9. Seth Pearman 10. Viliami Amone 11. Drew Langdon 12. Jarrah Gaia Treweek 13. Daniel Meafou 14. Lincoln Miners 15. Braith Plecas 16. Jackson Smith 17. Tyrone Amone 19. Bohden Barrett
There are a few out here.. King-Togia in particular, plus Kade Reed is injured... so both halves gone. Also "Toby Rumble" enters the fray on the wing, is this the younger brother of royalty?

Edit: Reed was on the podcast this week, broken bone in his hand he said.. he is hoping to be back for the Steelers v Dragons game (no sure thing).. a man of few words lol.

Dragons HM didnt go so well, there was a brief fightback in the 2nd half, but still got pumped 16-46.

Dragons SG about to start, I hate that Hammoud is still out, their captain and 5/8.. this is going to be brutal game against the unbeaten and stacked roosters side.. possible grandfinal preview... hopefully our forwards can keep it going for 70mins.

Update: Down 0-22 before half-time, might be a bit of a reality check.

Update2: Raiders up 44-0 over the Panthers, so maybe lots of sides can have a bad day ;-)

This will be more than a reality check. This is what you get when you decimate these sides. Let’s hope the injuries pass quickly.

did something happen Justa, other than Hammoud being out? Someone mentioned he has 1 more week (concussion protocol) and should be back for next week against the Steelers.

On the Steelers side: Kade Reed mentioned he was hoping to be back for next week also, not sure on King-Togia..

2 fast tries from Jesse Williams is nice.. but wont be enough with 14mins to go.

Update: Final score 10-46, as soon as we scored those 2 tries they just scored 3 more and converted them all.. conversions seems an ongoing thing in all our junior struggles.. such an advantage to have a gun kicker... giving away that lead against Newcastle could well cost us a finals spot (hopefully not)... but they play the Steelers > Raiders (who pumped penrith today) > Warriors > Finals.... its going to be hard going from here.

They copped a rough draw 6 away games from 9 travel to central coast Newcastle Melbourne and NZ. Hammoud show be back next week Halangahu could be out with head injury. They just need to make the 6 thou.

Off to a rough start in NZ today also.. Steelers HMatts went down, and the SG Ball score says 0-0 at fulltime, I think maybe its just bugged.. so I have no idea what's happened...

Trying to think whats the best result next week... maybe Dragons beating the Steelers? Chance for both teams to fit into the Top 6.. gonna be very tough for the Dragons in particular to make the finals, they have 3 hard games left to finish the season.
